Boscombe Spa Hotel

A very pleasant stay & great hospitality + BIG thanks to Raj for the lovely breakfast

Stayed here for the weekend as a last minute booking. Raj and his wife/partner? were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was small but had everything we needed, as it was the last room available at short notice. I liked that the shower had a removeable head, not attached to the ceiling like so many, and it had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers, rather than the small plastic throw away supplies that you get at a lot of places which are not good for waste and there are usually not enough in the bottle! They supplied plenty of teas and coffees in the room and supplied me with decaff on request. The decor was a little dated but I liked it, it had that homey feel. If I had a small criticism it would be that the place needed a little dusting and I wasn't keen on the sausages at breakfast. I did mention this to Raj and we had a little discussion/laugh about it. Would this top me from returning? No way! Also, I forgot my beach towel and they lent me a towel for the beach, most places wouldn't. No hidden extras, if you want something just ask. Nothing is too much trouble!

Lovely hotel, very clean, rooms pleasant and welcoming, plenty of refreshments tea, coffee and bottle water, parking great and perfect for walking into Boscombe and seafront.. excellent owners, very friendly and made us feel most welcome

Boscombe and Bournemouth both seem to be becoming ghost towns with many of the shops and bars closed and becoming eyesores hopefully the local councils will step in and do something about it soon before they go past the point of no return. This is very much reflected in the property even though the owner was very attentive and helpful it didn't alter the fact that the room was very cold when I returned late at night and it wasn't until the morning that I was told there was a small fan heater in the wardrobe. I just assumed the large radiator was the heat source.

The area behind Boscombe Spa Hotel toward the shopping centre has rough patches. However, Raj and his wife, inside the hotel, did an amazing job and were extremely helpful throughout. Totally recommended!!
