Our second time at this hotel. The staff were welcoming, in particular Ryann. It makes such a huge difference to a hotel stay when the staff are polite and accommodating. Would highly recommend - thanks, Ryann! The menu has changed, some items for the better, others not so. The cocktail deal is a welcome addition, though.

Nice location Easy parking However windows do not open (they are fixed shut) but air con didn't work (hotel has master control which overrides individual room controls) leaving room stuffy and airless. Bathroom extractor fan dis not switch off and sounded like a jet engine all night. Nice clean hotel but for me wouldn't stay again due to non opening windows and lack of ventilation.

Nice, modern comfy hotel in a good location near train station and bus stops and a short walk to Bournemouth centre. Nice hot breakfast but room was too warm with no option to make it cooler. No response to our request to have the room cleaned and sink fixed either. A fridge would be handy in the room too although the bar staff (when we could find them) were happy to supply ice.

Pros- Room was clean & quiet. Breakfast was good. -Some of the staff on reception were unhelpful & seemed inexperienced & uncaring. They were not accommodating or proactive with difficulties in the hotel, such as the underground car park access issue, which affected certain guests. - The guests were redirected to a car park over the road which had broken glass all over the ground from at least 6 car break ins. We were not happy to leave our cars there. We had to ask the staff for alternative parking options at a nearby Premier Inn. They redirected us to one up the road where the manager there was extremely helpful & empathetic.

First and foremost have stayed in a lot of Premier inns and I do know that they are cutting back on staff now this is a fact . On check inn 4:30pm I was asked if I will be joining for dinner? I replied yes I have a meal deal booked. The reply was “no you don’t “ I said “please check again my comp any booked it” .. The answer was “oh yes you do we have a 8:45 pm slot” I said no that’s bed time I have an early start tomorrow have you got anything else?” He said oh “8:30pm is that ok ?” I said no that’s still too late he the said “we only have one chef tonight “ I said “sorry that’s not my issue that wasn’t stated when you sold the meal deal”.. he then disappeared off and came back and said “ we can do 7:15” i accepted this. When I went down to the restaurant for my 7:15pm reservation there were 4 people in the whole restaurant . I ordered salt and pepper Calamari !! DISGUSTING it was like pork scratching ! And a Pepperoni,Mushroom and onion pizza I was told 5 minutes later no pepperoni! Changed this to ham.. I then received the worst pizza I’ve ever had ! A frozen one from a supermarket would have been better ! Floury horrid crusts and raw dough in the middle ! Mushrooms in quarter chunks as per an breakfast not sliced as per a pizza! When I complained the staff could not be less interested… I will 100% be telling my company not to use this place again as it’s plainly obvious Premier inn have lost all interest in customer service as this didn’t use to be the case !

a nice spacious room, plenty of space for travel cot for our baby, quiet & clean room, Staff were friendly and helpfull, only problem was one corridor door near our room was too small to fit our buggy through so we needed to take it apart to bring it into the room

I recently stayed at this Premier Inn and it was delightful experience. While hotel might be smaller and older compared to other hotels, its cozy atmosphere made for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly staff who made the check-in process smooth and efficient. Their warmth and willingness to assist set a positive tone for my visit. The hotel’s cleanliness was impressive; my room was well-maintained and tidy.

Comfy bed, good shower and breakfast was decent. Staff from what I seen were friendly. The location was ideal as there is a co-op nearby and the hotel is a short walk to the town centre. I would recommend East Cliff if you're looking to go out and about for the night in Bournemouth.

Lady on the front desk when we arrived was the most unhelpful person I have ever encountered. We arrived at about 2.15 and my baby had become unwell during our journey to the hotel. I asked if we could check in now. Told we would have to pay £10. No problem, we just need a room quickly for my baby. Then told because I paid by card we can’t check in early. Who doesn’t pay by card these days! Then told it was because no rooms were ready. Really no rooms at all ready at 2.15. I explained by baby was poorly which was also visible and she had no empathy or inclination to see if there was anything she could do. I also explained we had booked for 2 nights but they were 2 separate bookings as we had decided later to extend our stay. I asked if she could link the booking together so we didn’t have to check out and check back in the next day. I was told no. No explanation as to why, just no. We were then told to sit and wait in the restaurant. Tried to settle my baby who was becoming increasingly distressed. We were actually worried we would have to take her to a Doctor. At 2.50 the same lady approached me and told me the room was now ready. Relief! Fantastic! I say. She then turns to my husband when I am collecting our things and says ‘but you will still have to pay £10’ Seriously! At this point I was absolutely exasperated. My husband declined on principle and we waited the 10 minutes. Upon joining the queue to check in my husband confirmed the details of the room with her and confirmed there was a cot waiting in the room for us as requested. This was confirmed back to us as yes, but guess what, when we entered the room no cot! Back down to reception I go to advise the cot is missing and get it sorted. All my baby needed was a quiet place to lay down so we could give medicine and get her to relax but everything we asked was either answered with a no or incompetence. On top of this 2 of the 3 lifts were out of order during the stay which meant getting to and from the room to sort the cot issue out, not to mention in general wasted even more time. Even the ladies manner in telling us the restaurant was short staffed, would only accept reservations and we could not just walked in, sounded more like a warning than information. I would like to say the following morning when we went down for breakfast the staff were like a breath of fresh air. Much happier and welcoming. I approached the lady on reception and asked if she could help us with linking our booking up. She said no problem and it was done within 2 minutes and our key cards were refreshed. Complete night and day in terms of the service we received the previous day. The lady on reception the previous day needs some service customer service retraining. I understand that sometimes it’s not possible to complete every request from a customer but her attitude was a complete disgrace.
