De kamer die we hadden was ruim, maar verwaarloosd. Er waren geen gordijnen, slechts een lichtdoorlatend rolgordijn en een vitrage. De hotelkamers om ons heen werden gerenoveerd, wat gezien de kamer die wij hadden heel goed is. Wel wisten we dit niet bij het boeken, dat is niet zoals het hoort. Het ontbijt is uitstekend, hoewel het niet lukte met mijn dieet rekening te houden. Het personeel en de gastheer zijn vriendelijk. Op dit moment maakt het hotel een rommelige indruk en is renovatie geen overbodige luxe. Als we dit vooraf hadden geweten, hadden we voor een ander hotel gekozen. Dat er ook nog stratenmakers voor de deur aan het werk waren, hielp ook niet mee. Maar dat staat los van de staat van het hotel.
