The price of the newly renovated hotel in 2018 is similar to that of InterContinental. I chose this hotel because of the decoration style. The result is that the experience of an express hotel is not good, the soundproofing is not good, the room is not big, and the accommodation experience is very poor. A very cost-effective hotel, the service team is enthusiastic and professional, and it's a great stay experience. The hotel is in a quiet alley not far from the downtown area, and the environment is very good. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

Supernice and supergood hotel, marvelous room and central downtown location.
Normally i book rooms in the 100-150E range. I decided to go a bit more luxurious and i tremendously enjoyed it. Im an easy going traveler, i was i Bordeaux to assess architecture and urbanism projects. I rented a bike to go around the city.
The hotel staff is very naturel an friendly, no rush to empty your wallet but rather making sure you have a great time...
Best hotel experience i had i a lon time travelling the globe. Wholeheartedly recommended!!

It deserves five stars. Compared with Paris hotels, it is cost-effective. Although it is not in the center of Bordeaux, the city itself is not big. You can walk anywhere. The hotel has authentic French food for dinner and first-class service. I am very satisfied.

Wir haben letzte Woche zwei Nächte im Palais Gallien übernachtet. Es handelt sich dabei um ein tolles, sehr gutes und ruhiges Hotel in Bordeaux, ganz leicht ausserhalb des absoluten City-Zentrums. Jedoch kann alls zu Fuss erreicht werden, man braucht vom Hotel zum Place de la Bourse 20 Minuten. Zimmer sind sehr gut eingerichtet, nicht sehr gross, wie in Stadthotels üblich. Bett war sehr bequem, Mini-Bar frei zugänglich und zudem hatte es eine Nespresso Maschine, was wir sehr schätzen. Unser Zimmer war auf den Innenhof ausgelegt und daher sehr ruhig! Wir hatten die ganze Nacht ein offenes Fenster und konnten perfekt schlafen. Rezeption und Buchung einwandfrei und sehr nett. Das einzige was uns etwas gestört hat, ist, dass wir unser Zimmer nicht bevor 15:00 Uhr erhalten haben. Dies ist zwar die offizielle Zeit, da wir jedoch bereits 08:45 dort waren und das Hotel dies wusste, hätten wir es geschätzt wenn unser Zimmer etwas früher bereit gewesen wäre. Das Hotel hat im Innenhof auch einen schönen Swimming-Pool, welcher auf 28 Grad beheizt wird. Alles in allem sehr gutes 5 Sterne Hotel, Boutique Stil!

Personnel est très gentil et toujours près à aider. Petit déjeuner est très soigné avec un grand choix. Les produits sont de bonne qualité. La chambre est bien décorée avec une grand salle de bain. Elle est bien entretenu et le lit est très bon.

Very friendly service in a chic hotel. We were upgraded to an amazing rooftop suite. Everyone in the hotel was super helpful - breakfast was lovely and we had a meal last night which was very fresh and delicious. Walk to the beach and the town was very easy. Altogether a lovely stay.
