Aquarius Vacation Club at Boqueron Beach Resort

Just returned from what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway at Aquarius Vacations Club in Boquerón, and I feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to fellow travelers. From the moment I stepped into my room, it was clear that basic maintenance and cleanliness standards were completely absent. The bathroom situation was particularly frustrating - the shower was entirely non-functional with zero water flow, making it impossible to rinse off after a day at the beach. To add insult to injury, the bathroom vanity was broken, with visible damage that clearly hadn't been addressed for some time. The furniture throughout the unit appeared to have been hastily assembled, with multiple missing components that affected both functionality and safety. It's hard to relax when you're concerned about whether your chair might collapse beneath you! Perhaps most egregious was the complete lack of cleanliness. The hallway floors were literally covered in sand, suggesting that no vacuuming had occurred between guests. This wasn't a case of "a little sand tracked in" - this was the kind of accumulation that speaks to a systematic failure of housekeeping protocols. In my years reviewing accommodations, I've developed a certain tolerance for minor issues, but the level of cleanliness at Aquarius Vacations Club was, without exaggeration, zero. Basic hygiene expectations weren't just missed - they seemed entirely absent from the property's priorities. For a property marketing itself as a "vacation club," the experience felt more like camping in someone's abandoned apartment. At these rates, guests deserve functioning plumbing, intact furniture, and floors that don't feel like a beach extension. My advice? Look elsewhere for your Cabo Rojo accommodations until Aquarius demonstrates a serious commitment to maintenance and cleanliness standards. Your vacation time and money deserve better.

This place is everything says it is and more. My friend and I went with our kids to celebrate a birthday. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite on the 8th floor. It was beautiful view from our balcony hearing the coquis at night especially. There is a strict policy on towel return and trade for key cards. At first, I was nervous, but man did it work in our favor! The room was cleaned every day that was nice. There was a washer and dryer, and even little soap provided. We utilized the pool and the hot tub the most literally every night! Beach access was beautiful the kids enjoyed. There was food onsite in walking distance. We ate hibachi first night and there is a golf course and a lot of people playing pickle ball. There was a empanada little kiosk and take cash only. The bathroom was reasonable I would suggest bringing your own toiletries as what's provided was small.

We got a Villa with Two Rooms. It had everything . I asked for a view and it was given. We were able to go to the town , which was great. The beach was close, walking distance and not crowded, beautiful. Room Clean and communal areas also The front desk were exceptional, Special Shout Out to Nick. Took care of all our needs. :) Was worth every penny!!
