Nette eigentijdse kamer. Badkamer eenvoudig maar goed. Voldoende (betaalde) parkeerplaatsen. Uitstekend ontbijtbuffet. Royale gezellig ingerichte Biergarten met zicht op de Rijn. Ligt aan de rand van het stadscentrum.

Very clean and comfortable modern hotel with a really impressive beer garden with river views. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, unfortunately they are very small. I've seen bigger bathrooms in caravans so that has affected the overall svore whi h is a shame

Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Alles notwendige war vorhanden.
Evtl. könnten noch Ladesäulen für nicht-Tesla Fahrzeuge eingerichtet werden. Es gibt jedoch öffentliche Lademöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Das Hotel ist für diesen Preis einschl. dem Frühstück für 11€ unschlagbar, ebenfalls der Biergarten und die Lage direkt am Rhein. Das Personal ist immer ansprechbar und äußerst freundlich, außer den weiblichen Personen beim Frühstück. Diese sind sehr muffig. Das Essen in der Brasserie war sehr gut.

Lage Fantastische Lage direkt am Rhein. Gute Erreichbarkeit durch gute Anbindung und Bahnhof in der Nähe. Zimmer Unser Zimmer (Business Doppelzimmer) war eher einfach eingerichtet. Badezimmer war sehr schön gefliest. Minuspunkte: der zerkratze Plastik WC Deckel, ein klappriges Regal und eine schmutzige Duschgardine mit Plastikringen. Aussicht: Null, da irgendein Gestell vorm Fenster war. Sauberkeit Im Zimmer leider mangelhaft. Man sah deutlich Schlieren und Staub. Der Fußboden war bei unserer Anreise gar nicht gereinigt! Gastronomie Leckeres Frühstück, Auswahl war ok, aber könnte deutlich mehr sein. Leider zu wenig für Vegetarier/Veganer. Der Biergarten an der Rheinseite ist der Knaller! Super gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr leckeres Bier! Personal Am Empfang freundlich, jedoch interessierte es niemanden, wie unser Aufenthalt war oder ob wir zufrieden waren. Reinigungspersonal und Küchenpersonal: eher muffelig und wortkarg. Fazit Den Biergarten werden wir sicherlich noch einmal besuchen, wenn wir nochmal in der Nähe sind, das Hotel aber nicht, für das Geld erwarten wir doch etwas Besseres.

I booked the "hostel" option at Das Ebertor since I wanted to stay along the Rhine and Boppard offers transit passes to visitors. The hostel is just a room with bunks, not a true hostel with amenities. There is no kitchen or social area (though the hotel has restaurants). The room was nice and had a bathroom attached. There was a view of the courtyard. Everything was clean. First night, there were 3 other travelers, 2 the second night and I had the room to myself on the last night. I skipped the paid breakfast and didn't try the various restaurants. It was too early in the year for the outdoor beer garden. The front desk staff seemed new and not entirely familiar with hotel amenities and the area but they did help me book a bicycle (you can store it overnight in the garage). It was great to be so near the train station. There is a supermarket on the other side of the station. You're right on the river and it's about a 10 minute walk to old town.
