We had a wonderful stay at Almar. It was a special experience to watch the sunsets with the animals at the watering pond. The accommodation was first class and the air conditioning was a major plus with the heat that we experienced. The food that was supplied every evening was excellent and some of the best that we have had in Bloemhof over the years. Louhaan was a great host and ensured that everything we needed was at hand. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

This place was amazing I was here for 7 weeks the staff very friendly and made me feel at home, the food was amazing from the first day till my last day it was great. I will be going back and telling all my friends about this place, the host was also great telling me where to go so I can see south africa at its best

The location is amazing for getting away from the busy city life. My parents could relax and enjoy their anniversary without worrying about anything. The staff were very friendly and made them feel right at home.

We had an excellent overnight stay. The host went out of his way to make us comfortable. The dinner (steak) was next level and the rooms were comfortable, clean and well equipped.

Myself and my brother stayed at the Almar exclusive game ranch for 4 days after almost 4 weeks of travelling South Africa...we had the pleasure of been hosted by Louaan and Michelle...everything was great about our stay ..from accomadation ,food and the Safari drive...louaan caters for every need ..whether you wish to hunt or just relax in beautiful surroundings...

We discovered a beautiful gem. Hospitality excellent 👌 Rooms excellent 👌 Breakfast simply amazing Dinner by host, delicious A place we will definitely visit again. We enjoyed the quietness and beauty of South Africa which is so diverse, catering to all our inner soul needs.

Beautiful lodge and farm. Spacious rooms and lovely atmosphere. Although it is not the fault of the Lodge, there were very loud guests swimming at 4h00 in the morning. Maybe a sign to forbid loud noises at certain hours will help. Make sure to ask for the price of dinner and drinks beforehand, we were a bit surprised by the final amount. Excellent breakfast.
