Rustic long cabin with very nice interior decorating. Kitchen was well supplied with basics, but we noticed that the refrigerator was not quite cleaned out and the kitchen drawers needed a thorough cleaning. The beds and bedding also need to be replaced with new mattresses. The owner seems very willing to comply with guest feedback and he is attentive and welcoming.

7th Year of Serenity And we're looking forward to our eighth. Everything about this log cabin on the river is right. Peter is a gracious host. The guy you'd want for a neighbor back home. The property is immaculate. The view from porch and patio is blissful. The neighborhood is quiet, but groceries, dining and sightseeing are nearby. Mostly, though, we just love to sit with the river in view, read and talk.

Another nice time at Peter's cabin This was our second visit to this charming log cabin on the water. We bought our kayaks and really appreciated the kayak dock (tip: it's very easy to take your boats down the tide ramp to the floating dock at high tide). Enjoyed wood fires in the big stone hearth to cut the chill in the morning and evening - and had several pleasant conversations with Peter, the host. Something new: we made a nice lunch with company on the new (since our last visit) stone patio with gas grill and stout teak furniture. A good week !

5 Years and Counting We’ve just completed our fifth summer stay at the cabin and signed up for a sixth. How’s that for satisfied customers? It’s an ideal location for folks who like a quiet getaway without feeling cutoff. The log cabin is beautiful and so is the view. Our gracious landlord can’t be beat.

Absolutely LOVED this perfect spot!! When searching for a place to call home during our Maine vacation, I wanted to find a place that would appeal to my husband as much as it did to me. I knew I’d picked the right spot when my husband, not a man to waste words, commented several times that he loved our little cabin! If you’re looking for that camp feel, but want it comfortable rather than spartan, this is the place! The kitchen was well equipped, the furniture in the living room comfortable,
