Hotel Haus Daufenbach

Stayed here for our last leg of our journey with 2 friends, it's right in the centre of town. Close to many shops, bot far from rhe cherry blossom area, there's a town hall, bakery and market most days within metres. Many clothes and food shops within 5 minutes The room was right next to a cathedral and 5 minutes walk to the bus and train station

I advise you, in the strongest terms, to choose another hotel or hostel in Bonn. My room was infested with bed bugs. But this was not the main issue; these things happen. Rather, I do not recommend BrauHotel because of the owner's poor communication, highly unprofessional behavior, and unwillingness to fairly address the costs and inconveniences related to the infestation. On several occasions, the owner lied about the action (or lack thereof) he had taken to address the situation and said he did not have time to deal with such trivial matters. Perhaps my experience was a fluke? The reviews suggest otherwise. If you consult Google reviews about the accommodation (rather than the pub), you will see that many guests have had terrible lodging experiences that were consistent with mine. Previous reviewers noted that the management was "exceptionally unfriendly" and documented issues with bed bugs for which they were not sufficiently compensated. I wish I had been more discerning and had taken a closer look at the existing reviews before I reserved a room at BrauHotel. Please do not make the same mistake I did.

I recently stayed 1 night at this cute and comfortable hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how large to room was along with the amenities provided. Large and very comfortable bed, I was able to have a good nights rest after a long flight. Coffee facilities in the room was very convenient. The location is superb with easy access to the market place with loads of food and drink options close by. 10 minute walk from the Bonn Central Station with all my luggage was no effort at all. I was very pleased with this hotel.

The hotel was in a very nice location in the center of Bonn. Baltazar, the owner of the hotel, manages the bar under the hotel. He's a very kind young man. Since the hotel does not have an elevator, he gave us his best room, taking into account our age. Many thanks to him for his interest. There is a market next to the hotel. You can taste street delicacies here. You can reach the train station in 5 minutes by walking.
