El hotel está situado en el paseo del Rin con vistas espectaculares del Petersberg, Drachenburg y Drachfels. Este hotel tiene muchísima historia siendo uno de los preferidos de Adolf Hitler quien se hospedó aquí más de 60 veces y negoción con Inglaterra la cesión del Sudetenland.
El desayuno es muy bueno y las habitaciones están todas reformadas.

Wij hebben kakarlaken in onze kamer gehad . In dit hotel zij er kakarlaken. Dit hebben wij echt niet verwacht van een 4-ster hotel . Kamer is zeer klein , douche is zeer klein , er is geen airco in de kamer. Wij zijn met ons 3 in Augustus geweest. Het was heel warm, wij moesten de ramen open doen om in de nacht te kunnen slapen , maar er zijn geen vliegramen aanwezig , dus veel muggen gezien dit hotel aan de rivier gelegen is. Een ramp dus, echt een ramp. Wij komen niet meer terug.

The Rheinhotel Dreesen, aka “Das Weiße Haus am Rhein“, is our favourite hotel when visiting Bonn and surroundings, for the following reasons: Its location in a quiet side street in the “Villenviertel” [“Villa Quarter”] of Bad Godesberg just outside Bonn proper but with excellent connections to the city by public transport as well as a straight shot by car to the central car parks of Bonn. Its wonderful location with views – and relaxing sounds – of the Rhine River and the mountains of the Siebengebirge including the Drachenfels with its ruins of the Burg Drachenfels and the Schloss Drachenburg as well as the Petersberg with its Hotel Petersberg, (still) the official guesthouse of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exceptional service of a very friendly and guest-centered staff. The magnificent ambience reminding you of bygone eras. Its ever so sumptious breakfast buffet, the best I’ve ever come across. To sum up: this is a hotel where every guest is made to feel like a VIP, with the personnel reading the guests’ wishes from their eyes, a hotel that in the documentary “Legendäre Hotels. Geschichte, Glanz und Gloria” on the German TV channel “Terra X“ is mentioned as on par with the Adlon in Berlin and the Ritz in Paris. For detailed information, see my Wordpress Blog

Das Rhein Hotel Dreesen in Bonn Bad Godesberg ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert. Wir hatten kürzlich das Vergnügen, in diesem Hotel untergebracht zu sein, und der Service, den wir dort erlebt haben, war äußerst herzlich und zuvorkommend. Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir freundlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Das Personal war stets bemüht, uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Zimmer waren ein wahrer Traum - modern eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Man merkte, dass hier viel Wert auf Komfort gelegt wird. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das reichhaltige Frühstücksangebot. Es gab alles, was das Herz begehrt - von deftigen Speisen bis hin zu veganen Optionen war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Qualität der Speisen war ausgezeichnet und wir konnten den Tag gestärkt beginnen. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt war jedoch, dass der Aufzug nicht funktionierte. Dies wurde uns jedoch bereits beim Check-in mitgeteilt und das Hotel bot an, unser Gepäck aufs Zimmer zu bringen, falls nötig. Somit war dieser Mangel kein großes Problem und wurde durch den guten Service des Hotels kompensiert. Alles in allem würde ich jederzeit gerne privat oder geschäftlich wieder in dieses Hotel kommen. Die herzliche Atmosphäre, der ausgezeichnete Service und die schönen Zimmer haben uns überzeugt. Das Rhein Hotel Dreesen ist definitiv eine Top-Adresse in Bonn Bad Godesberg.

Ein traditionelles Hotel mit hübsch renovierten Zimmern. Sehr gut ausgestattet, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und excellentem Rheinblick. Zuvorkommendes Personal, Frühstück ok. Restaurant zu teuer.

This hotel has a lot of old world charm but with a modern and comfortable rooms. The rooms have everything you could need with a lovely spacious bathroom with a bath and shower (located in the bath). The staff are lovely and willing to help out with everything. The breakfasts are delicious and it is a full spread on whatever you could possibly want for breakfast. The river Rhine is right in front of you so I highly recommend a room with a river view. There is a nice Beer Garden next to the hotel, along the river as well.
