"A very negative experience at the Hotel Spa Puerta de Vadinia. It completely fails to live up to its promises. We booked partly for the spa and were told it could be used by booking it there, but upon arrival, it turned out it's only open in the summer, something we were never informed about. Furthermore, we were charged in advance when we were told it would be charged at the end of our stay. The "buffet" breakfast is misleading and of very low quality: sliced ​​bread, pastries, no fruit, and hardly any cold cuts (just ham and cheese). Capsule coffee. Nothing you'd expect from a 3-star hotel. The most serious issue is the lack of hygiene: in the breakfast area, there were glasses and drinking glasses with cigarette butts, creating an unbearable smell while eating. This is completely unacceptable and should be reported. There were also visible cobwebs, demonstrating poor cleaning practices. The room leaves much to be desired, with details like a window held together with electrical tape. Dinner is acceptable, although one day it was served cold. The only positive aspect is the staff, who are friendly, but it doesn't make up for everything else. I absolutely do not recommend it. Very poor management, poor cleaning, and misleading services."

"We have just spent three nights at this lovely hotel. Our room on the first floor overlooked the main road but the road was very quiet, particularly at night. The hotel was well maintained and kept clean. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of choice in the restaurant which served meals every evening. A perfect location for travelling around the Picos mountains."
