Fairfield Inn & Suites Richmond Midlothian

We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable, the staff were amazing. The only thing that would discourage me from staying again is the location of the hotel. It’s in a suburb far from any type of tourist attraction.

Very clean and neat! There was a rainbow at the day we visited! 😻

We have stayed here many times and overall, we like the hotel. However twice now we have had a problem with our bill and the manager does not resolve the problem to our satisfaction. The first time he did not follow through on a promised refund but gave us points instead. And this time, after an initial email, does not respond after his staff mistakenly gave us incorrect information, which added $100 per night to our bill. Will not stay here again.

The hotel was spotless,clean and modern.My room was comfortable and very clean. My favorite experience was breakfast. The “ breakfast lady” worked hard to keep everything stocked and the counters pristine and fresh. The oatmeal had an array of delicious toppings. There were hot and cold items. This was such a good way to start the day.The price was reasonable compared to other hotels in in the area.I will definitely use this hotel for my out of town guests.

This place is a quiet, quaint, tucked away gem in Chesterfield County. For me, it’s so convenient because my mom lives very close by. This is the place I stay when I am in town. It is strategically located next to the highway, restaurants and gas stations. The GM, Mr. Kenny is so inviting. The staff, Tiffany, Regina and crew are very attentive and professional. If you want a warm greeting and farewell, this place is for you. The breakfast selection and hours are very accommodating and adequate. The rooms are very clean and the housecleaning staff is very good and polite as well. I love the sizable bathrooms and the abundance of towels provided. The price is competitive, but very realistic. This is the place I stay when I come to Richmond. I’m sure you will agree as well!

I gave it 3 stars because I feel like it was way overpriced.. For $247.68 per night I expected more than a standard hotel room. Everything was standard, pillows were typical and lumpy, sheets were clean but nothing special. Basic coffee service w/ powdered creamer and bland coffee pods. Everything worked A/C , lights but no USB ports in the room except for one on the alarm clock. The light by the bed had stains on the shade and rust around the bottom and again for that price point I would expect to see nice plush linens, comfy pillows, just a little higher standard. Breakfast was good but typical, the breakfast staff friendly and helpful. The night desk clerk, Saturday night was in sweat pants & hoodie, the day person on Sunday was in office casual but no name tag and I thought she was a guest waiting for someone to show up at the desk.. Not Marriotts best offering.. I did not use the pool or exercise room..
