Allo Stiegel Scala ho pernottato, Una bella facciata di un tempo passato. Credevo freschino, e invece che caldo! Sudavo anche all’ombra, rischio surriscaldo. Bolzano o Bolzen mi ha entusiasmato, tra italiano e tedesco mix assicutato. L’hotel elegante, dall’aria antica, con staff rilassato e accoglienza amica. La colazione? Una vera delizia, le uova strapazzate: pura primizia! Yogurt, affettato, cappuccio il mio rancio, un inizio di giornata per partire di slancio. La piscina era bella, con montagne a vista, ma fresca e tranquilla, quasi da rivista. La camera invece un po’ scarna di arredo, pareti un po’ vuote niente altro vedo. Pulita e ordinata, ma senza calore, un nido di quiete, ma senza colore. E poi la sorpresa, la sera in tv: Karate Kid, col suo pugno e virtù. Un nippo tirolese, che cosa bizzarra, Miyagi che in tedesco izzava la garra! In sintesi, amici, lo dico sincero: l’hotel mi è piaciuto, pur non tutto intero. Se amate il relax e l'uova strapazzata, allo Stiegel Scala la scelta è azzeccata…

Zimmer und Bad sind sehr gut ; das Bett hatte eine Top Matratze mit jedoch leider eine kleinere simple Bettdecke. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr üppig mit viele leckere frische Produkten von eher Süß-Italienisch, über gesund-fruchtig bis deftig mit verschiedene Käse- und Fleischsorten. Kaffee und zubereitete Eier werden am Tisch serviert. Wenn das Wetter schön gewesen wäre hätten wir sicherlich von der sehr schöne große Terrasse genießen können. Direkt gegenüber dem Hotel ist eine geräumige Tiefgarage. In etwa 10min Laufabstand ist man in der Stadtmitte.

My room was a pleasant surprise. It was roomy and bright, with a comfy duvet and fluffy robes. I enjoyed being able to spread out and relax. It was easy to walk to the pedestrian shopping area and Otzi museum. As well as the funicular to the alpine villages. That's worth doing. Breakfast was good. You can request omelets.

Ein schönes Hotel, nahe zum Zentrum (10 Min zu Fuss) mit sehr grossen und hohen Zimmern, viel Platz. Sauber, gepflegt. Parkplatz zu einem guten Preis in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Betten sind gut und die Zimmer sehr ruhig (die Strasse ist wenig befahren)

Piacevole hotel con parcheggio privato comodo per la visita della citta'. Accoglienza efficiente. Stanza confortevole, arredata in modo un po' freddo ma con ogni comodita'. Letto comodo. Un po' troppo caldo durante la notte, nonostante il riscaldamento in stanza risultasse spento.

Posizione ottima a pochi passi dal centro, parcheggio all'interno dell'hotel sia all'aperto che chiuso abbiamo subito usufruito del parcheggio e abbiamo lasciato l'auto anche la giornata di partenza gentilissimi naturalmente tutto compreso con la stanza, arrivati prima dell'orario consegnato subito la carta Suedtirol Guest Pass per usufruire dei servizi pubblici come musei trasporti funivia ed altro, camera con tutti i confort, staff, servizi, pulizia eccellente.

This is a lovely hotel with nice rooms and staff. The two bad things we experienced were 1, my brother was bumped into at breakfast, and nobody was helping him! The other was that my dad ended up walking right into the kitchen because the signage was mediocre. He ended up getting talked to in a rude way and being blamed even with the signage lacking emphasis. Even with this a nice hotel would come back and would recommend. Also is a very good way to many locations, and we had a fun experience. I would also ask that the blankets be arranged attached to the bed instead of the blankets because there are no sheets! Another tip is to directly get service at the desk because once my mom asked for 2 extra pillows and we came to find that is was not there. I'm not sure if this is that the receptionist did not understand or if there was a miscommunication. Once again lovely experience I would come back and recommend it.
