Impressed with hotel decoration and central old town location. 10mins walking distance to train station. Glad that staff offered to deliver luggage to the room as I won’t be able to manage carry luggage up the stairs. The lift only goes up to level 1. Continental breakfast is adequate. During the three nights stay, the breakfast was served with the pretty much the same food, not much variation and no hot food other than hard boiled eggs. The room was clean but lack of amenities such as hair conditioner and toiletry kits. Small vanity in the bathroom, lack of bench top space. Being a female traveller, I feel pretty safe walking around the neighbourhood at the night time.

Interni molto curato e camere comode e accoglienti, colazione molto buona e personale all'altezza. Assolutamente non di facile accesso per chi avesse problemi di deambulazione per la presenza di tantissiem scale, un vero piccolo labirinto ma molto bello.

Really nice place. Breakfast was wonderful - varied and plentiful. If you have mobility issues with stairs then find somewhere else - otherwise, the almost Esher like configuration of the hotel is a lot of fun and there is an amazing view from the roof, which can only be accessed via very steep stairs.

Um hotel boutique no coração da cidade histórica de Bozen e pode-se fazer tudo a pé. É tipo um casarão restaurado e modernizado. Um charme só, mas não indico para pessoas com mobilidade limitada, pois tem muitas escadas.
Tem um estacionamento público subterrâneo a 400m. O quarto é grande, limpíssimo e confortável. Café excelente, wifi bom, cama ótima, chuveiro bom, atendimento impecável.
Ponto negativo: a porta do bwc é tipo box, de vidro e sem vedação.
Veredicto: Caro, mas entrega.

1 Nacht mit meiner Frau. Unheimlich toll, was hier in 3 seeehr schmale mittelalterliche Häuser gezimmert wurde. Soooo viele kleine schöne Details zwischen Treppen, Gewölben und Fresken. Wunderschön! Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr angenehmes Frühstück.

Dimora storica al centro di Bolzano. Bellissima struttura rinnovata che conserva il suo fascino. La nostra stanza al 3o piano aveva un giardinetto carinissimo. Personale disponibile e gentile. Colazione completa e abbondante. Ci tornerei senza dubbio.

Lovely stay somewhere very unique
We stayed at the Goldenstern Townhouse for 4 nights. Loved the uniqueness of this hotel, location and friendly staff. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. Bed was very comfy - only little gripe we had was you could hear the room above ours ‘walking their donkey’. It was very annoying for the first few days but we got used to it after that. Would definitely stay there again!
