After reading all the duff reviews we were in trepidation of our booking, made many weeks previously. We were so pleasantly surprised. Arriving at 3pm to a warm Italian welcome the hotel is very modern with quirky decor. Beautiful views across to the river Trento with the fantastic Italian Alps (?) as a magnificent backdrop. Pleasant 15min walk into the town centre which is also fabulous. The only drawback was the parking, but we were persistent and eventually lucky in procuring a space right outside the hotel with a sticker from reception for the windscreen. No breakfast so probably overpriced at €154 for one double room for 1 night, but definitely nothing to moan about.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Ariston in Bolzano. The Hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the historic center. Parking is provided in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel in a public area. We were two people plus a dog accepted already at the booking stage with a slight surcharge. We were greeted by an extremely kind person. We found the rooms clean, heated and comfortable. Wifi password given at check-in. The price for one night in Bolzano was correct. There is no lift but this was not an impediment for us.

We booked at the last minute and being the week of August we couldn't find anything else. The rooms are also nice, freshly done up with all the necessary amenities. Cleanliness practically non-existent. At €182 the room you expect at least a clean room! Paid garage also for bikes €3 per day. Breakfast is no longer available due to covid 🤔🤔🤔

From the outside, the facade can be a little creepy, but inside it's fine. The room is surprisingly modern and clean, but could be bigger. We didn't have breakfast here. Bicycles can be parked in the underground car park.

We stayed in this hotel for one night while passing through. Actually, there is little to complain about, but also little that inspires. Both room, bathroom and public areas were clean and in reasonable condition. The bed was also ok and the room had enough space. But somehow we didn't feel comfortable and comfortable. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the old town.
