Grand Central Room

This is not a “hotel” there is NO PHYSICAL RECEPTION. We were left very confused as to how we check in and where exactly the rooms were as we did not receive an email about the check in process at all. After waiting 30 minutes outside the hotel on a busy main road we were finally able to call the hotel. You need to make sure you have data on your phone or you will not be able to enter or check in at all. The room and gates are all unlocked via your smartphone. (If you don’t have one then you are out of luck). The room itself was not equipped with the items that were advertised as being included (tea and 2 bottles of water), the bedside tables were full of dust. The shower was FULL of mould. This was sadly the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

The location is perfect, you can walk to the city center (15 mins) or just take a single bus. I read some reviews about the room was dirty, and the sheets were stinking however my room was pretty clean.

Clean place on the edge of town. No issues with ZTL but check in is a pain in the neck. 24 emails and 30 WhatsApp’s it took to get it done.

Bad check in , clean but boring room I booked same day to arrive late. Did let realise if u arrive after 6.30pm there is a conplication. I arrived 10pm and they didn’t send me info to check in and didn’t answer the phone for 25 mins or so. Eventually they did and access was via lots of links, WhatsApp messages. I missed the personal touch of people working in hotels

Lovely property conveniently located. Staff were excellent. Space was clean and efficient

Disappointing Stay Had to chase for key code to get into property as not sent. Second day had to chase for key code to main door as it had changed from first day without notifying us. No soap dispensers at sink or shower, only given a few soap sachets. Towels of poor quality that were not changed during 2 night stay. Plastic disposable cups not suitable for making a hot drink as melted. Beds were OK.
