Nice and clean hotel with polite and friendly staffs. Location is slightly periphery to city center. The high rating on sites is a little misleading though.

We stayed at this hotel in July 2025. It was a quick trip to see the AC/DC concert. We wanted to be close to the train station. We took taxis to and from the hotel, so I could not tell what kind of neighborhood it is in. When we arrived, the crew of an Emirates flight was leaving, so that is always a good sign. We checked into our room without any issues. Language wasn't a problem at all. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We booked an Executive Junior Suite room on the 6th floor. The room was nice, modern and roomy. The A/C was working just fine. We have never been in Italy in late summer (we usually come in May), so A/C was a concern. Overall, we were hot the entire trip (even if a cab had A/C, they had it on low), but the hotel was nice and cool. You use your room key to activate the power in the room. Two free water's were provided each day and an espresso machine was in our room (we didn't use it). The TV was large and new (finally) and has Chromecast for your streaming. The bathroom was nice with comfy towels and a huge shower with great water pressure. Overall, we recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Great location near university and hospital. The hospital recommended this hotel for out of town guests. I will likey be back when 8 visit the city. It is a very comfortable, clean, modern hotel with friendly staff

I would say hotel choice and quality is hard to find in Bologna. Lots of average hotels and one good one (Grand Majestic) but at £500 p/n!! We booked the Amelia based on many factors - one being rooms recently refurbished. We were happy with our room on 6th floor and it was as described (622) The location was 25 min walk from centre of town but that suited us. The main streets in the centre are being dug up for new tram lines so we did well to avoid that!! The young reception staff were most helpful I was concerned with temps of 35 degrees and high humidity the air con may not be up to the job but it was, so pleased about this too overall very pleased with our choice. Hotel much better than the impression from the outside/exterior

Dall'arrivo alla partenza, è stata un'esperienza fantastica. Laura è stata gentilissima e ci ha dato ottimi consigli sulla città e sulle attività da fare. La camera era impeccabile, 10/10. Anche la colazione era ottima, tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. L'esperienza è stata meravigliosa, torneremo e la consigliamo vivamente.

Atendimento incrivel, super limpo, cafe da manhã otimo. Chega-se ao centro historico com 15 minutos de caminhada. Qdo fiz a reserva , comentei que era nosso aniversario de casamento e o quarto foi preparado com flores e um espumante( para nossa surpresa) Muito atencioso ! Adoramos e recomendamos .
