I was very satisfied with my stay at Sailimu Lake Scenic Area this time. I had a bed in a quadruple room all to myself. The waiter was worried that I would be cold, so he gave me two heaters and hot water. It was a blessing to have heating and hot water in Sailimu Lake where the temperature was minus 10-20 degrees Celsius, otherwise the environment would be polluted by domestic waste. The cute guy even helped me take photos. His hands were so cold, he was very sorry.

Xinjiang has a wide temperature swing, and it can be quite cold at night. When we arrived, the yurt was already warm with a charcoal fire. Ask the aunt if you'd like some home-cooked meals or kebabs. The lamb skewers are tender and flavorful, not at all smelly, truly unlike what you'd find in the city! The bedding is provided with disposable sheets, which felt hygienic and warm. There are also solar panels for charging our phones. Just sitting on the small stool outside the yurt and daydreaming is incredibly peaceful. The owner often serves hot milk tea and freshly baked naan, which warm my stomach and warm my heart. This yurt is both fun and comfortable. I'd love to stay here again next time I visit!
