Location: Very close to the East Gate Service Center. The owner will pick you up when you arrive. Although it's not near the scenic lake, you can still see Sailimu Lake from a distance. I originally planned to stay in the campground there, but after the trip, I realized I was glad I didn't. It's too inconvenient, unless you're driving. This place is convenient for both those who drive or not. Environment: It's close to the authentic life of grassland nomads, a unique experience that was great. However, don't compare it to hotel standards. The toilets are dry toilets, similar to grasslands. There's water for washing your face, but no showering. If you can accept this, it's a good choice. It can get cold at night, so bring warm clothes. There's a fire in the room, so you can sleep comfortably. The barbecue is all fresh lamb, and the locals grill it to perfection. If you want it charred, ask in advance for a longer grilling time. It's delicious and reasonably priced when paired with grilled naan. I can feel that the boss and his family are really working hard. Sailimu Lake is very beautiful. If you want to have a better experience, it is recommended to share a car or drive a tour. You can stop as you go. The most beautiful place feels like the first stop, Songshutou, where you can stay longer.

We stayed for two nights. As soon as we opened the door, we could see Sayram Lake and herds of cattle and sheep, which gave us a new perspective on Sayram Lake. The owner and his wife were very nice. They picked us up directly at the visitor center. The food was very good. We could eat freshly slaughtered mutton. The owner is a very good cook. The mutton on the grassland really has no smell and the portion is very large. The flavor of the mutton was adjusted according to our preferences. When it gets colder at night, the stove is lit and it is very warm. There is a hiking route to Sayram Lake from the yurt. Although it is very tiring, the scenery is worth it. It is like adding another attraction ✌️ I will come again next time!
