Always a great experience. Staff are attentive yet un-intrusive. Meals are thought out meticulously. The guides are knowledgeable and try to ensure you get to see as much as possible, while ensuring your safety to the maximum of their ability.

The friendliness and service of the staff was excellent. Marcia was a marvellous host from when she and some of the staff met us on arrival and really appreciated the way she met us with refreshing towels when we returned from each game drive. Our room was very spacious and airy and I liked the outdoor shower very much. The chefs produced delicious meals. Sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and having the pool to cool off in were great. Martin was an excellent and incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. And due to his efforts I saw all of the Big 5 in just 3 days. Thank you to them all for a 5 star experience.

Service was spectacular and no request was too much! Food was awesome. Would recommend Tanbuti Lodge to anyone wanting to feel spoilt and enjoy a great time! We felt like it was a real family environment and even the rain couldn't dampen the experience.

From the arrival till departure, it was all 5 star worthy. The accommodation (we had one with wirlpool), was great. Clean, spacious, and all luxury was provided. The food was superior and the game drives with Martin super! Due to rain we were not able to do the afternoon drive so instead we did an evening drive. Martin needed all his skills to keep the truck on the road but he managed. Certainly a good start of our holiday.

Tambuti Lodge was way more spectacular than we had imagined. The staff and guides were so accommodating and attentive, the chef and the meals she prepared were delightful and with such cool presentation. Staff even took into account the fact that I wrote in our reservation that we were celebrating a special event and made a point to pop some champagne at dinner for the occasion. Our safari guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the best places to spot all the best game. Our room was very clean and spacious complete with laundry and turn down service which I hadn’t expected but was such a nice touch. Bar was not only open 24/7 but self-service and always well-stocked. Loved that the lodge is limited to 10 guests so you really get to know everyone and family-style dinners were so lively and fun. I would come back to this lodge a hundred times over!

Where to start? Tambuti is a truly special place. From the moment we arrived, we had such a warm welcome in this beautiful lodge. Every member of the team went out of their way to make our stay both special and memorable. The personal touches made this a visit a dream. Our room was literally stunning and immaculate, the lodge and communal areas are gorgeous, and the pool is lovely to relax in. Every meal that we had was delicious - it was so tasty and cooked to perfection. We had only one night at Tambuti, but our two drives were brilliant and our guide Sean taught us so much. We were lucky enough to see 3 of the Big 5 in such a short space of time. If you’re looking for a little slice of heaven, Tambuti is certainly it. Thank you!

I was a first timer! And everything from the moment I got there till the end was fantastic , I had the best welcoming thanks to the workers. This lodge was unbelievable. Very clean, comforting and the food was outstanding the chef put so much effort and love into the meals each one was different from each other. Not to mention the safari tours. Our guide made our experience so fascinating making sure he tired his best for all us to see all the animals we wanted to making good conversation and keeping us safe. This whole experience was so magical I would do it all over again. Definitely if anyone is looking into this lodge book it!!

Our experience at Tambuti has been perfect. Unfortunately we only had time to stay for 2 nights, I would recommend staying at least 3 nights. The lodge and rooms are set up and maintained to the highest standard. The food was perfect as we’ll, chef Edith spoiled us with all lovely food imaginable. We also had a memorable private dinner under the starry sky on our terrace. Check-in and welcome to the lodge was very personal and clear. It was very much appreciated and thoughtful that the evening game drive (16:30) waited for us to arrive, so we would not miss out. Game drives (morning and afternoon) were perfectly organized and our guide was great (thank you Sean). Ofcourse there is no guarantee on what animals you will spot, but all efforts are taken to provide the best experience when in black rhino or pilanesberg. Unfortunately we missed the illusive leopards, so we’ll have to come back for that.
