A stunning safari at a great lodge. The staff especially Marcia, Martin, Edith made our stay a very very memorable one. The food and service were 5 star. The game drives led by Martin were exceptional. His skill and knowledge as well as his professionalism were superb. Would highly recommend this safari experience.

Die Tambuti Lodge hat meine Herz. Wir waren dort für drei Nächte und hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Die Lodge ist sehr klein und nur 10 Gäste können dort gleichzeitig sein. Wir genossen unsere Zeit dort und entspannten uns perfekt. Die Safaris im morgen machten uns sehr müde, da diese um 5:30 starten. Wir haben die Abende mit den anderen Gästen genossen. Mit leckerem Essen und einem Bierchen 🍺 war es perfekt. Die Safaris waren atemberaubend. Unser Guide/ Ranger Sean war über aus freundlich und für jeden Spaß zu haben. Wir sahen über aus viele Tiere, leider nur keine Löwen. Sean erklärte uns sehr viel und jede Frage war willkommen. Er versorgte uns während kurzer Stops mit Getränken und kleinen Snacks. Nach den Safaris wurden wir wieder willkommen geheißen und bekamen ein heißes Tuch. Nach kurzer Zeit auf den Zimmer gab es dann essen. Morgens ein leckeren Brunch mit zwei verschiedenen Joghurts, Brot, Marmelade, Müsli und vielen Früchten. Dazu wurde vom Koch noch täglich eine Ei Variation angeboten. Nach der Abend Safari geb es ein leckeres Menü. Der Appetiser war meist eine leckerer Salat. Das Hauptgericht war meist ein sehr leckeres Stück Fleisch mit allerart Gemüse. Danach haben wir noch einen leckeren Nachtisch serviert bekommen. Insgesamt war es einer meiner besten Hotel Erfahrung. Wir werden bei Gelegenheit wiederkommen 🐆

Our stay in Tambuti Lodge was perfect. The staff were so attentive, the room was very clean and comfortable and the food was incredible. Also, it’s a great location for game drives and our guide was excellent.

This lodge is within easy reach of Pretoria/Johannesburg on the western edge of Pilanesberg National Park. From the moment we arrived Marcia made us so welcome. Our room (black rhino) was amazing, with a splendid bath overlooking the small and private garden. A massive comfortable bed and plenty of space made our 3 night stay very comfortable. The food was amazing and the bar well stocked. There was a very convivial atmosphere throughout our stay, which had us meeting various new friends as people came and went. It was lovely to sit out before dinner and mull over the day's adventures. Shaun was an excellent guide and we also met Martin briefly before he went on his well-earned break. We saw everything except an elusive leopard. The sight of massive herds of both buffalo and elephant was just incredible. We were very sad to leave and it's hard to imagine a world where we don't return here. You can keep Kruger and the malaria tablets, just head here... you also will avoid the fear of missing out that you could get in a larger, more spread out, game reserve. Pilanesberg is plenty big enough, we still didn't cover it all even in three full days. Very sad to leave. Thanks to everyone at Tambuti Lodge for a really special time.

this was one of my favourite aspects of my trip to South Africa. Douglas was incredible, so professional and always there when you needed him but not hovering. Martin was knowledgeable and helpful but also down to have some banter and share a drink. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had, all the chefs were so skilled! Chef Edith baked a cake that I don’t think I will ever forget! Highly highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay at Tambuti Lodge. The staff was warm, inviting and helpful. The food was amongst the best and freshest we have had. Kudos to Edith the chef. We saw all "Big 5" in one day which was amazing. It was also a great value considering alcohol and laundry service was included. Overall we had a great time at Tambuti Lodge.

Always a great experience. Staff are attentive yet un-intrusive. Meals are thought out meticulously. The guides are knowledgeable and try to ensure you get to see as much as possible, while ensuring your safety to the maximum of their ability.

The friendliness and service of the staff was excellent. Marcia was a marvellous host from when she and some of the staff met us on arrival and really appreciated the way she met us with refreshing towels when we returned from each game drive. Our room was very spacious and airy and I liked the outdoor shower very much. The chefs produced delicious meals. Sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and having the pool to cool off in were great. Martin was an excellent and incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. And due to his efforts I saw all of the Big 5 in just 3 days. Thank you to them all for a 5 star experience.
