We were in Bogota on business and selected the Hilton Bogota and were very pleased. We spent many hours in the executive lounge and Luisa, Alejandra, and Jose were absolutely terrific. They took care of everything so professionally and joyfully. Jose also was our waiter several times in the main restaurant at the hotel and the service was wonderful. We encountered no problems at the hotel, but needed a few electronic devices and Jackson the concierge, went way beyond his duties to assist us in amazing way. We were very grateful. He also arranged transportation for and it was very appreciated. A great stay. Thank you very much to all the Hilton Bogota team.

Picked this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews. What a letdown. Tiny room with no storage. Old furniture, one sink and a weird tub/shower combo. Empty conditioner bottle, not enough towels etc. Just a really worn out property. No minibar. No bottled water. 2 paper cups in a supposedly 5 star property. I don’t usually take pics but did in this case. Stayed there for 5 nights and the concierge desk was continuously vacant. Had to ask for concierge multiple times. Finally got fed up and went across the street to JW Marriott. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Location was decent. Gym was adequate. Downstairs restaurant was not bad. Sports bar was constantly empty.

Reading about the hotel ahead of time I had some expectations, and the staff of the Hilton Bogota exceeded that! I emailed the hotel ahead of arrival to ask about transportation from the airport. I'd read that despite the fact that Uber is often used it is not actually legal so sometimes that causes problems from the airport specifically since policemen may be watching closely, and regular taxis are not always a safe option. The hotel staff responded almost immediately and arranged a car service which was extremely professional (met with a sign at arrival and driven directly with luggage) for only $21 US billed to our hotel room. Amazing service, which we also used back to the airport. Can't say enough about that. It's not a limo or anything, but very professional drivers. Even before arrival I'd been upgraded the the Executive Level by the hotel. because of HHonors status. The rooms are not that big but comfortable, the bedding and pillows are pretty awesome. Introduced ourselves to the concierge right away (Jackson) and he immediately went into guest-service mode on overdrive and was extremely helpful in many ways!! I cannot say enough about his extremely professional and polite attitude and he went above and beyond several times during our stay. He helped us find a room that was perfect, showed us around the hotel and made numerous recommendations for restaurants and such which were spot-on. He alone is an extremely valuable asset to the hotel! At the same time, it seemed that every member of the staff was interested in ensuring that our stay was positive - the doormen/security staff, the front desk staff, the gym staff, and particularly the Executive Lounge staff! On that subject, the Exec Lounge staff were some of the best we've ever encountered in this type of environment - they had just the right level of friendliness and service and went out of their way to make us comfortable and well-served, and the food/drink offerings are all good. I think they are also a particularly-important asset that deserves a lot of credit. We always felt welcomed. I would rate the hotel overall as a 3.5 star to 4-star international property, as it's not particularly "fancy" or impressive as a structure but the staff make it a 5-star property with their attitude. Overall I think it's a great business hotel and the location within the city makes it somewhere I'll likely go back to next time I'm in town for any reason - work or pleasure. We checked out the JW Marriott, which sits a block away and it's a slightly nicer/impressive building but the Hilton Bogota is sufficiently great in many ways that I'd opt to make it my go-to in Bogota. There's plenty of security, which is important. The neighborhood is very quiet, as it's in the financial district, yet it is almost perfectly located with tons of fantastic restaurants within walking distance - some of the very best in the city! And it's very easy to get around to anywhere you'd want

Great people who could not do enough and provided excellent service. Everything was as you'd expect from a large city Hilton - nice room; comfy bed; and hot shower - except the food. What we ate at the hotel (lounge and breakfast) was beyond 5 stars. Variety, quality, quantity and presentation could not be faulted.

Jackson works as concierge, front desk, and bellman. He is everywhere and so efficient and professional. His support was the highlight of my experience at the Hilton. He should be the front end manager! Customer service is his priority and it shows.

This is an edit to the stellar review I gave them. I still think the staff was amazing and did a great job BUT watch out for their billing. I booked our trip on the Hilton website in US dollar (as a matter of fact I booked all our hotels for that trip in Colombia directly at every hotel website in US dollars and the Hilton was the only one who pulled a number on us). We booked our stay for a total of $925.65 but they charged us $992.97. Yes, the difference isn't big but it's a matter of principal and being honest. I signed the checkout invoice in Colombian dollars and this is where they played with the amount. I want everyone to be aware at check-out/check-in to convert their Colombian pesos amount to their currency so that no one runs into this problem. I contacted the hotel but they blamed it on my credit card exchange rate which is absolutely rubbish because it is the hotel amount that was submitted wrong. We stayed at the Cartagena Hyatt and had no problem with exchange rate. Whatever amount we reserved online is the amount we paid for (no exchange rate problems). This is definitely a switch and bait on the part of the Hilton, so be warned. I changed my rating because I am disgusted by their dishonesty (edited 2/20/2024) I went back and forth and was undecided whether to give this hotel a 4 or 5 stars. I finally decided to go with 5 stars because of the stellar service. We were there for a wedding and quite a few of us were staying at the hotel. We were a large party. Upon arrival, Oscar checked us in. His smiley face and beautiful attitude was a wonderful welcome. He gave us a nice room on their top floor 1404. The room was spacious and clean with a large window with a view of the mountains and the city (some of the lower rooms didn't have much of a view). The walking shower was nice and large and you walked through a closet/dressing area to get to the bathroom. This area had a cloth hanging area and 4 small tiny drawers (not enough storage if you are staying a while). We kept our stuff in the suitcases, not ideal but we managed. The room was also on the darker side. I am being picky now..... Now to the service which was amazing! I mentioned Oscar at the reception desk, Ivan the bellhop always helpful at the front door, Louisa in the executive lounge with her great smile every morning she'd remember our beverage of choice and was super attentive. Every member of the staff we dealt with was courteous and eager to help (I am sorry I can't remember everyone's name). They were ALL Fantastic!! Estevan, the hotel driver, was amazing and last but not least Jackson, the concierge, a gem. A very personable person ready to help anytime of the day even when not on duty. He helped us book tours, find a hairdresser, makeup artist, restaurants....made appointments for us. I never had a hotel concierge go above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Jackson for all your help. You were an absolute gem! The executive lounge is small but well equipped. Ther
