I am a member of the Golf Club and gym at Lanhydrock, and my wife and I regularly use their Carvery for Sunday lunch. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful, the ambience delightful, and their Sunday Carvery is outstanding. With a great golf course, a gym, driving range, and a simulator shortly available, all in one place, what more could you ask for.

We stayed at Lanhydrock with family members after attending a funeral close by. All the staff were extremely helpful and so welcoming. Our room was an accessible one on the ground floor which was perfect. A beautiful location with far reaching views, very spacious inside with room to sit have a drink and some food, which was delicious, breakfast overlooking the golf course was amazing!! Would highly recommended. If I had one tiny criticism it would be more milk for the tea and coffee. Thank you to all at Lanhydrock.

I stayed here with work. Well appointed rooms which are comfortable and cosy and cleaned every day. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Food is excellent, in particular the carvery which is legendary. Festive decorations are up in November, which is fine but it’s a shame they missed half the door in the bistro. Well worth a visit.

I've given it one star as this is the lowest rating possible. A great venue in a great location. Sadly let down by its directors who are inflexible and not focused on the needs or wishes of the customers despite what their website purports. A very disappointing experience.

We enjoyed an excellent stay at this very well run establishment . All of the staff were pleasant and efficient. The food was very good at breakfast and in the evening. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bar prices were not over the top thankfully , a nice change indeed ! Beautiful views of the Golf Course. Large Carpark. Would stay again .

Recently enjoyed a very pleasant four night stay at the Lanhydrock hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location for local attractions. The room was clean, well presented and the bar and restaurant serve quality and reasonably priced food. We found the staff all very polite, helpful and friendly. im Rahmen einer Rundreise nutzen wir dieses Hotel für drei Nächte. Etwas außerhalb gelegen, an einem sehr schönen 18-Loch Golfplatz zeigen die Zimmer entweder zum Golfplatz oder zum Parkplatz. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Blick auf dem Golfplatz. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem ist alles sehr sauber und das Bett ist bequem. Leider schließen die Fenster nicht dicht, so das man den kühlen Wind im Zimmer spürt. Sinn macht, hier ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zu buchen, da man dort eine kleine Terrasse hat. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr freundlich, alle Bereiche sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht sonderlich umfangreich, aber okay. Die Küche zauberte uns zum Abendessen jeweils ein Dreigängemenü. Was recht schmackhaft war. Setzt man die Preise an, die dort aufgerufen werden, gibt es leider nur drei Sterne.
