Hotels near Thai Monastery, Bodh Gaya

This hotel stay was a good experience for me. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The food was excellent, I had breakfast, lunch and dinner and the team lead by Mr. Parmatma did an Awesome job of taking care. Front Office team was very friendly and supporting, thanks to Mr. Kumar. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bodh Gaya.

It is clise to Daidodaiji Temple, so I can enjoy sightseen in the morning and evni g. It's very hot at this time of year, but the airconditioning i the room was working and it was confortable. There was also a bathtub, so I was able to relax. front office boy is good sanjeet . helpful and good communication all staffs os good.

Lot of mosquitos and when you ac on very bad smell coming i don’t know where otherwise good very close temple

I was so happy to learn that now place like Gaya has a Hayat property. Truly loved up to Hayat level and such good stay from reception to departure. Hotel Seven Inn may be a decent option relative to other options in Bodh Gaya. It's a bit hard to compare without experiencing other hotels. Importantly, the rooms are pretty clean with comfortable beds. There is hot water always and the general service of all the staff is very good. When one of us got sick the hotel even arranged for a doctor to come within 30 minutes. During our stay there were a few concerns others should consider when booking though: - A beautiful Vietnamese temple is next door and they begin to play their gongs around 4am which may wake you up every day. If you are a deep sleeper or if this is something you might even enjoy it wouldn't be an issue. - To enter and exit the hotel you have to walk through a very narrow 50 foot long small dirt pathway that leads between peoples corrugated metal & wooden homes. I felt a bit invasive and uncomfortable walking through an impoverished area into a hotel without any other route options. - The ***ager at Hotel Seven Inn gives off an impression of being very attentive and helpful to guests but it quickly became apparent that the intentions behind this service is to acquire more business. By the end of the trip we did not trust him and even found his demeanor to be almost abrasive. Upon check out he told us that his credit card machine was broken and that we needed to pay in cash. Only after telling him that we would be unable to pay then because we had no cash did the card machine magically begin to work. We asked if he could arrange a taxi to the airport and he told us that it would cost 1,200 rupees. A taxi to and from the airport should cost 700 max. As I told him, this was the first time in my month in India that someone had been dishonest about the cost of a service.

I was treated well, as a guest, by caretaker mr. Vijay. Decent stay and food is available here. The area in general faces a bit of power cuts. They have reasonable backup. Other guest houses nearby have nice and small restaurants, which you may visit as well. And anytime during the day you may walk up to the mahabodhi temple, and experience the purity of atmosphere there. You will have to deposit your mobile outside the temple, and take a numbered token.

Property location is good. But issues with four wheeler access. Cleanliness of property is satisfactory. Room service & reception is very poor. No proper response from reception in evening. Food quality is average. Issue with availability of food after 9. 00pm is great problem.
