As a solo female traveling alone I felt so safe and relaxed here. The staff are wonderful. They even shuttled me to the dock the next day to catch a water taxi to my retreat in Yelapa. I had a ground floor room, very lovely and the least expensive room I believe there, and I absolutely loved it. I ate dinner there and breakfast and the food was wonderful and the service was terrific. The landscaped grounds have all kinds of very beautiful places to chill out and relax. It’s a very tranquil place. In fact probably the nicest place of its kind that I’ve ever stayed at. My husband and I do like small boutique hotels just like this and we will be back here in November together. Check the Website and see the various rooms. There are a variety of rooms and quite a big gap in prices. I was very happy with the room that I had, particularly for that price. Our next trip we will be celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday and we have reserved a more expensive room, but I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the rooms. Just pick something that fits your budget and the event that you’re celebrating.

We just spent three wonderful days at Villa Lala just South of Puerto Vallarta. The small hotel was a hidden paradise staffed by a most professional crew who loved what they were doing. Alda and Maria were amazing. Smiles from everyone and ready to answer any call with excellent service. The landscaping and the food and the drinks and the pool and the hammocks and the jacuzzi tub in the room and the beds and the dock for jumping into the bay! We loved our stay there and will be back for more visits…for sure! We thank everyone again for your smiles, service and accommodations in your little Paraíso!

This place was beautiful! I went solo as an African American female and I felt completely safe! The staff was amazing, calm, spoke both languages, patient, kind and helpful! It was a beautiful place to get away. Especially for a couple, or even to go love on yourself! I felt completely comfortable here. When I wanted to go interact with the outside, a car was called for me with no hassle. The front desk handled everything including my laundry, cleanliness of room and any other needs. I was all reactive and give them 5 stars. Hands down. The pictures and videos were exactly the same as shown and worth it!

My husband and I just stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday. We’ve been to many hotels throughout all of Mexico and this is hands down the most beautiful hotel ever. We stayed in the love nest room and it was perfect. The service was incredible, and food was great. Would love to go back very soon.

Very friendly and attentive Staff. Small secluded property within walking distance of Boca de Tomatlan where you can get anywhere by Bus or Water Taxi. The management takes extra pride in the garden are with thoughtful ornaments and waterfalls and enough space to roam around. Hammock through the privat beach and garden area. Kayaks and Paddleboards included. So are the dolphins that you may see in the bay while having breakfast at the terrace. Speaking of food. Freshly cooked to your order. And when we requested a fresh coconut we got one organized in no time.

Todo estuvo excelente gracias por ser tan atentos. Queda un poco retirado de Puerto Vallarta pero la verdad vale totalmente la pena por los espacios que ofrece y sobre todo la naturaleza que da es extraodinaria la asmosfera que ofrece este lugar

We stayed in the Eagles's Nest -- the resort's most expensive room. It's hugely expensive but a LOT of fun. The views are breathtaking and the suite's own small infinity pool is beautiful. A swing has been cleverly installed over the pool and once you get the hang of mounting the swing from the pool (pro tip: back the swing up and climb the stairs built into the pool) it delivers the levity it was designed for. The resort has beautiful gardens and beautiful views over the bay. Fruit trees like star fruit attract orioles and golden-cheeked woodpeckers, for those who appreciate colourful subtropical birds. A rather precarious kayak entry point allowed my inexperienced partner to pitch himself into the ocean, but all was subsequently well on the kayaks, except that the staff member who was supposed to meet our return had wandered off elsewhere and bemused fellow guests had to intervene. In general, though, the staff are superb, and they serve up lovely meals. For a romantic dinner for two, consider the table in the Buddha garden -- it is a table for two set at the end of one of the gardens and the splashing fountain and overhead enclosure of vines make for a perfect dinner for two. We appreciate this hotel and have been recommending it to anyone we think might be up for it. Don't even think of having your honeymoon anywhere except in the Eagle's Nest -- start a GoFundMe if needed. :)
