Our stay at Koro was amazing. It all started when all staff members were welcoming is at arrival. After that we explored our amazing tents with outside shower, bathtub, inside shower, cozy beds and a view in the river with beautiful sunrise in the morning. All good was delicious, breakfast, lunch and dinner was made with loads of love. We also did a biking tour (electrical or by leg muscles), which should be done by everyone that likes to be active. It gives the opportunity to discover areas in the reserve that can not be reached by the safari vehicle and tracking plays an important factor in this since way more tracks and dung are visible than from the car. I would recommend everyone to visit Koro River Camp and if you have the possibility to do a bike safari!

Nothing we can write will do justice to this incredible place. Stayed here for five nights, nowhere near long enough. The tent was private, clean, well equipped and had fabulous outdoor space with amazing views. The food was plentiful and delicious, the communal spaces kept immaculate by hard working staff. The highlight was obviously the game drives, especially the morning one, starting with coffee and a muffin before setting off, coffee and biscuit half way through and then back to camp for "breakfast number three!" Oh, and did I mention that we saw some wildlife as well? Saw a leopard every day (so rare on other safaris) lots of elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest etc etc and so many birds of different species that I lost count. This is truly a paradise for bird watchers. And finally, the staff. Managers Alida and Bets going above and beyond for us, our guides, West and Solomon, spotting wildlife that we only dreamed of seeing, and the cheerful, friendly staff in camp for the giggles and fun. The foundation is doing incredible work for the wildlife, local people and the environment, and deserve every success. Visit Koro. You won't regret it.

The best place on earth!! Hospitable and super friendly staff. Well organized and maintained camp. Very good, friendly and safe guides during the tours. We have seen all, lions, leopards, elephants, crocodile, hyenas and more and more. Good food and surprises. And finally, we have planted a tree.

I can't say enough about my experience at Koro River Camp. Gorgeous accommodations and wonderful staff! The tents are pure luxury with your own private plunge pool overlooking the Limpopo River. The food was outstanding for every meal. The game drives were the highlight for me since the Tuli block is truly still very wild, so the animals are still curious about the vehicles that are driving past them. We saw lions that looked and acted like they had never even seen a vehicle before. I am definitely going to try and make this trip every year because I had such an amazing time!

We have visited several countries in Africa and seen a lot, but found this a truly unique place. During our trip in South-Arica we passed the border to Botswana (very easy and swift process) for a few days at this wonderful lodge set in indescribably beautiful nature. We had the chance to stay in the family tent - consisting of a tent for the parents, a tent for our children (9 and 12 years old), a tent with bathroom and in addition an outdoor shower, with a pool and terrace overlooking the beautiful river. The interior of the tents was very tasteful. We intensely enjoyed the warmth of everyone working at the lodge, the personal attention, particularly to our children, the beautiful nature and the excellent food which we enjoyed overlooking the river. The guides Casablanca and Mandla took us through the area and showed us the most beautiful places. They were very sweet and caring and came up with fun activities that they did with the children in between game drives so that we could relax further. The children experienced their stay at this lodge as one of the highlights of the trip so far. After leaving, it was hard to get used to the lodge next on the itinerary. We would love to come back again and then plan the Koro River Lodge at the end of our trip to fully relax in this beautiful setting.

I had a lovely stay at Koro River camp. The tents were so tastefully decorated and had stunning views of the Limpopo river. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly. Excellent service! The food was delightful. We got to see a variety of animals on the game drives. I would certainly want to stay at this place again in the future.

We had an amazing tome at Koro River Camp. It was a long drive from Johannesburg but Botswana has lots to offer and is well worth it! The game drives and rangers were amazing and very professional. We spotted several species of game including wild dogs. Staff at the camp were so so nice and friendly. The camp has 7 or 8 tents and is really quite and private. Constructive advice would be they really need to aircon the tents as Botswana very very hot in February. Still a 5 star experience and worth the heat and travel

We had a wonderful family safari holiday. Great staff, stunning location and great family bonding time as well as super game drives. The safari walks are very interesting and SK a knowledge and very likeable guide. Thoroughly recommend spending a night under the stars at the hideout .

Koro's land is great. There are some areas in the middle which are a bit dull (lots of mopane bush) but they have many gorgeous kopies and the stretch of land along the Limpopo River is truly exceptional. I also loved my tent: It was very nicely appointed, of generous proportions, and had lots of privacy. I greatly enjoyed sitting on my deck, looking at the river, reading a good book, and observing the diverse bird life. I also thought the rest of the lodge was quite stylish. Staff was very friendly and, on some of the days, I had my own guide and tracker who went on bush walks with me, which I really appreciated. So why am I not giving it a higher score? Mainly because service was just lacking in the little things. For example: They told me that I should not drink the tap water, so I asked that some drinking water just be placed in my room (something pretty much all lodges do). I kept asking, but it never happend. The first couple of days they asked me what drink I would like for my sundowners, then they stopped and just brought me some canned "juice" I didn't like. There were no tissues anywhere in the lodge. When I asked for some at dinner, I was given a role of toilet paper at the dinner table. An other example was that there was a "gift shop" in the lobby, but many item's were just randomly thrown on the shelves, looking for like an almost-empty storage room. Not very welcoming. The food was consistently mediocre, sometimes worse. I especially found the snacks provided early in the morning and on drives/walks quite disappointing - mostly rusks from the supermarket, a lot of peanuts and potato crisps. Once there were some cashew nuts, which I appreciated. Finally, compared to most other bush regions I have travelled to, I saw relatively little wildlife. Once we tracked a leopard on foot, which I cherished. We also saw elephant on various occasions. Other highlights were a couple of civets, bat-eared foxes, and one porcupine. Beyond that, it was only antelope, zebra, giraffe, hyena over a period of 7 days.
