You screwed up on the reservation. I had a confirmation from you of my request for king executive suite, and when I checked in the front desk said you had sent a reservation for 2 queens. Not good. They were sold out and I had to take the 2 queens. The hotel gets great reviews, but the booking agent does not. Will never use a third party booking service again.

Super filthy!!!! Get a steamer to these carpets!!! Replace the nasty showers! The lobby was well maintained but it was hard to get past that the store carpeted area was soiled. Bathroom was spacious but the shower floor was not fit to stand in! Bed was comfy and noise level low so could sleep.

This hotel is overcharging by charging far more than the posted max rate on the back of the hotel room door. The room was so humid and smelly that the floor was damp and we had issues with allergies. It was noisy all night and the toilet wouldn’t stop running. It definitely isn’t worth over $300 a night for a very small two queen room.

I recently stayed at this hotel while I was in town for my best friend’s wedding. My room wasn’t super clean upon checking in, but I was informed that the hotel was at maximum capacity. I found dozens of dead stink bugs in the window sill, as well as a stain in the bath tub (that washed away as soon as I scrubbed it). I noticed several carpet stains and cookie crumbs, as well. Had the hotel not been full, I would’ve asked for a different room. Minus the few messes, I had a good stay. The walls were pretty thin and I heard everything my roommates said/did, but I’m a heavy sleeper. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and all the staff at the front desk were lovely. They even asked to see pictures and hear stories from the wedding and reception!

The staff was friendly. Room is small but very clean and comfy. Beds are great... Lots of restaurants nearby. We had a nice stay My only surprise was when the bill came online, the fact that we were charged for parking. GEEZ

I grew up in this area, moving away 25 years ago. We sold my parents house last year and since then I've needed a hotel when back to visit friends and family. This was my second trip back in a hotel - and I would return here before I returned to the Residence Inn across the street. The pricing during my stay was ridiculous for the area - the front desk explained there was a dance competition in town that had all the hotels sold out at higher prices. The hotel was mostly families with teen and pre-teen girls. I was concerned about noise, but it generally wasn't an issue due a combination of a very loud air conditioning unit providing white noise and well behaved guests on my floor. While awake in the room I could hear people in the hallway and with the air conditioning off I could hear traffic on the nearby interstate. Neither kept me awake, but I could hear them. The shower and sink had great water pressure and the hottest water I've encountered in a hotel. It was wonderful not having to hurry through a lukewarm shower. Bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. No lotion which was a disappointment. The room was clean - no issues there. The sofa bed was nice for relaxing and falling asleep watching TV. Basic satellite dish TV - disappointed no local regional sports network to watch the Guardians and/or Pirates. Two TVs in the King executive suite. The evening front desk attendant was very helpful and pleasant. Had the extra pillows I wanted when I returned to the hotel the first evening. Ah yes - the pillows. Based on my experience this hotel needs new pillows. If you like firm pillows, this is NOT the hotel for you. I like to sleep with my head elevated on pillows - even with 7 pillows this was not possible. Shame on me for not brining my own pillow from home to help, but these pillows were among the worst I've encountered in a hotel in a long time. Mattress was OK - but not the dreamy kind that has me pulling off the covers to see what I just slept in and would like to have at home. The room had a refrigerator, TV, microwave and coffee maker at the foot of the bed. Sounds great but there was only a single electrical outlet to plug in two at once. The microwave and coffee maker had the cords wrapped around them. I had to pull the fridge out to briefly plug in the microwave to heat up my leftover pizza. Breakfast was OK, but underwhelming. Hotels seem to want to go with the cheapest foods available these days. Same choices all 3 days - scrambled eggs, sausage patties and premade sandwiches. Oh for the days of bacon at hotel buffets. Again I prefer this hotel to the badly worn out Residence Inn across the street. I don't prefer this hotel enough to not give the nearby Hampton or Holiday Inn a shot at my business on my next return in a few months as I keep looking for a go-to hotel in the Boardman-Poland area. Replace the mattress and pillows in the rooms and you might have me return.

Please note that the door slam and they slam so loud. They will wake you up from a deep sleep. And then you will have people slamming the door all night Long over and over and over again. The doors are so loud. They shake the rooms. There is no way to get a good nights rest here. Marriott must update the doors. It's hard to believe this is a renovated hotel.

The pros were first the location. Everything you could need is within a 3-4 block radius, literally. Nice, modern area. Second, was the check-in staff, these guys were really nice, friendly and helpful. Neely sent a text once we got into our room to make sure everything was well. That was a very nice touch. The cons were: the floors, elevators, hallways were very dirty. Although there was some snow, someone should focus on cleaning, sweeping, and wiping down high touch areas like the elevators. The one elevator was tiny. The room was clean but, the mattress was in need of replacement, it was sunken in the middle. Definitely not like the Fairfield mattress we were expecting, it was pretty bad. The food service staff was not friendly or helpful at all. Most breakfast staff will at least say good morning, smile or even ask how is everything. Not good customer service. Would be nice if they had boiled eggs. Finally, the room was set to high heat when we checked in, the temp should be cool to avoid germs.

This is an older property. The lobby appears to have been updated, but the halls are dark and dank. Room was clean and has the usual features. Breakfast standard fare. Location is such that it is away from road noise, so you get a quiet nights sleep. Close to restaurants and shopping.
