This is lovely property and the gardens are beautiful - flowers and hummingbirds - but it is in need of a lot of TLC and updating, particularly the plumbing. Self-catered and kitchen could use a kettle and a microwave rather than just a gas oven. However, Miss Bridget made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. There are steps in the garden down to the sea where you can swim off the rocks and there is a small public beach 5 minutes walk away. It is away from the big resorts and you definitely need a car to get around. Not much in the way of restaurants or anything to do in the evening nearby. The roads in Jamaica are terrible and full of potholes.

Property was well kept, staff polite and studio we stayed was updated and clean, very spacious, water pressure in shower was kinda low, entrance is kind of hidden and not much space to enter from the road to the gate, overall I would stay here again

1. The pictures look nothing like the current condition of the property.
2. There were dogs constantly barking at times even in the middle of the night. We’re dog people so I gave it the benefit of the doubt until a very large, chained up dog lunged toward one of my girls when we were getting out of the vehicle.
3. The last night we were there, we were awoken at 4am to the noise of construction/maintenance that continued for awhile.
4. Our room had a strong sewage smell that was absolutely terrible.
I don’t usually write reviews good or bad, but with this experience it is my due diligence that no one else have to experience the same atrocities that we did. Don’t make the same mistake we did!

We had a fabulous stay at Wilton House. Safe, clean, very friendly and helpful hosts; three minutes walk from a great beach. If you go be sure to try LunaSea restaurant (3 mins drive) - great sunset views and fab food!
