The location of this inn is perfect. Despite being in walking distance to everything it was not at all noisy. The atmosphere in the cabin was so relaxing and everything was clean and in order. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as perfect. We highly recommend.

Awesome service. Love the gas fireplace, the location to downtown, no need to drive. Walking distance to EVERYTHING. Well except Grandfather mountain. But that is only 15-20 minutes away. Can’t wait to do it again.

My two sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed the property. We had one double room and one of the cabins, which was a perfect gathering spot in the mornings over breakfast and to play games in the evening after returning from dinner in town. My bed was exceptionally comfortable, and post trip service was fantastic re mailing me a forgotten item. We enjoyed the proximity to shops and restaurants, and enjoyed being able to walk to Bass Lake from the inn.

This was our third visit to the Cozy Cabin and a wonderful experience as always. Cabin is perfect for two people complete with fireplace. Very convenient location to walk downtown for shopping and great restaurants.

We truly enjoyed our stay. We had the cozy cabin. It was cozy. That cabin feel and ambiance. Hot shower and comfortable bed. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Management is very accommodating. We loved every bit of our stay.

We always enjoy our stays at the cabins and enjoy being able to walk to dinner and shops. I think this was our 4th time at Mountainaire. The cabins are small and rustic but have all you need. We did notice the upkeep in general is not as good as it was with the previous owners. I hope this trend does not continue because it would be a shame to let this little gem go downhill and loose repeat customers.

We had a fabulous stay at the Mountainaire Inn. It was our first visit to the area. The staff was super helpful. Everything was clean and neat. The age of the property and the decor was define Retro. We enjoyed that! It is in a perfect location. We look forward to returning.

We stayed in one of the log cabins and it was perfect. Yes, it actually is a log cabin so don’t expect a bland, modern hotel room - this place has character and charm. It’s old fashioned and exactly what we were looking for in the lovely town of Blowing Rock. The bathroom is small and gets very warm but it’s perfectly fine for a freshen up. The bed is comfortable and the cabin is spacious. My only downside, but not enough to take a star off, is the aircon which was too small to cool the room down. But I’d rather that than a huge unit ruining the charm of the cabin!
