Solid option just south of the courthouse square. Quick walk to Kirkwood which is a straight shot to the IU Sample Gates. Cold water dispensers in the lobby and coffee maker in the room. My 3rd floor King was clean cool and quiet. I don’t see why they charge for parking (I think it was $17 / night, paid for thru QR code) seems like a perk they could offer to differentiate from other BTown hotels. Bistro was out of breakfast potatoes and OJ on Sunday morning, and pastry selection was sad. 20 somethings working front desk and Bistro were pleasant and professional.

Don't arrive hungry, expecting this hotel to have a restaurant/bar. The front desk said the bar opened at 5 pm, and the elevator sign advertised a happy hour at 5 pm. Yet, upon arriving at 5 pm, no one appeared to be working. There was a sign that rang a bell to get someone to serve guests. So, three of us waited after ringing the bell. The front desk staff even rang the bell. LOL! After waiting 20 minutes, I left. It turns out the restaurant never opened. The tiny hot tub was under construction—another thing to note, if this matters to you. I attempted to contact management about this poor communication/service, but never received a response. The service was disappointing, and it did not meet the quality standards we (used to) appreciate regarding Marriott-branded properties.

Don't arrive hungry, expecting a bar/restaurant to be open for the evening, even though it's advertised online, in the elevator, and even in the rooms. The front desk staff didn't even know the restaurant was closed for the night. I saw at least three guests waiting for staff to arrive to begin happy hour. There was not even signage to indicate the place was closed. Instead, a doorbell with a note saying the staff would come soon to take your order after ringing the bell. That would be a long wait! The Bistro was open for breakfast. However, they were out of the two items I tried to order. If the tiny hot tub appeals to you, that was also closed. Again, no communication. I attempted to contact management (see photo) but have not received a response in days. I wonder if there's been a change in management. The staff we dealt with last year were delightful, but we won't return due to the treatment we received during this stay.
