It was a good stay over. Room smelt a little too much like someone had smoked in the room. Other than that a good stay.

We went to Port Elizabeth, via the Bloom's Ark, and stayed at the hotel on June 24, which is run by an old couple. When we observed which room was a hotel, the elderly had stood at the entrance of the gate and greeted us. It seemed that we had been waiting for us for a long time. Very responsible elders. After entering the house, the elderly hurriedly introduced us to the bedroom, introduced the location of the switch, the socket, the remote control of the TV series, the use of bathroom facilities, breakfast time, especially the bathroom door to be closed, because the temperature is low at night, the bathroom outside, the door is open, cold air will hit the bedroom. The next morning, when we got up and opened the door, the elder's wife was preparing breakfast for us. It was too late last night to ”sight” and now we can take a closer look. This is an old-fashioned villa, the interior decoration, layout, furniture style, and gardens all show that the old couple is loved by daily life, that is, how daily life is, how the hotel is. So, you will feel that this is not the kind of professional hotel, but the family hotel, giving people a feeling of home, have affinity, very warm. The hotel is beautiful, it’s located in the CBD close to all amenities. I think it’s rated a 3 star hotel only because of its location, otherwise it would have been fit for a 5 star if it was in the northern suburbs of Bloem. Our stay was lovely, the room was cosy, the staff very friendly. The only thing that was a turn off was the noisy air-con that took forever to warm up the room. The food was also not that good.
