The room was clean and tidy, the service was pretty good, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work, ventilation was blocked, parking was convenient, there was a bar in front of the hotel, there was a pool table where you could play a few words! A few dozen meters to the left and right of the door was the spring and church in the picture below.

A real gem in the Corswolds. Fantastic local ambiance in the pub and great evening food. Happy to have dogs. Breakfast could have been a little more complete with a teapot for tea but small issue and the general service, clenliness and friendliness was great.

Wyjazd służbowy. Personel przyjazny. Rozczarowaniem było podczas 7 dniowego pobytu że śniadanie jest serwowane tak późno od 8:00 w tygodniu i od 8:30 w weekend. W przypadku podróży służbowej liczyłem na śniadania rozpoczynające się najpóźniej od 7:00, nie było możliwości zamówienia lunch boxa, więc nie korzystałem ze śniadania. W weekend śniadanie monotonne, dwa zestawy do wyboru, gdybym miał to jeść przez 7 dni to bardzo słabo. Pokój czysty i zadbany ale bardzo malutki, z małą toaletką zamiast biurka. Plusem na pewno jest kaloryfer którym można się było dogrzać.

Cute little hotel with amazing staff. The price was very reasonable and my room was small, but clean and comfortable. The pub is about as quaint as you could get in the Cotswolds. I had an excellent dinner (Shepherd's Pie!!!) and the full breakfast was also good.

Evening meal. Had the Sri Lanka curry with was three courses with side dishes. Really lovely flavours. The lamb main course was stunning in flavour. Great value and very fast and efficient service with polite and welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend.

Staff food and hotel was top class!. We couldn’t ask for more. ..,, We planned on staying in a local hotel down the road but it was closed. Lucky for us we found this hotel, we would definitely stay again. thank you for you kindness and hospitality . ☺️

A Lovely hotel with some beautiful traditional British features. Very polite and efficient staff. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfy but could use just a touch of flair and a few fancy extras. Overall a lovely stay though. Delicious fresh food and an amazing curry night. VERY good value for money with a great selection of traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Highly recommended. A good selection of bar drinks in a cozy traditional pub setting. Library/ lounge for relaxing. Outside terrace lovely in the sun and comfy and peaceful restaurant for meals and breakfast.

Probably one of the worst nights sleeps I've ever had. Walls are paper thin, so constantly heard the couple next door talking, using the loo and clearing their throats. People stomping up and down the landings and slamming doors at all hours of the night. Food was abysmall and incredibly over priced. Gave it two instead of one star purely because the staff were really lovely. Didn't sleep a wink though, bed was very uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here if you can help it.

We arrived with no reservation and were quickly seated. The service was friendly and d the food was great. We were there on Euros final night so football was being shown and there was a great atmosphere! Thanks for making us welcome and we’ll return!
