This is a great central place to stay. The Manager is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We had a non-powered site and were extremely impressed with the campground amenities. Basic but very clean and functional. The Blinman Pools walk was really beautiful. Water is very green due to the drought they are currently experiencing. The scenic drive around Glass Gorge was easy to do with our 4WD. Glad we stayed at least 2 nights. The Heysen Trail Head right at the doorstep of the village. The village has plenty of supplies and fuel. Thanks for a great stay.

Don’t be disappointed with the dry and dusty appearance on arrival. Get over yourself and lock in your stay to experience the northern Flinders Ranges from this base. We stayed 3 nights on powered sites and we had everything we needed: power, water, grand views, laundry, camp kitchen, shade trees, store (with most things you might have forgotten or run out of incl alcohol), fuel and mechanical repairs, Blinman Pools walk AND it’s located halfway between Parachilna & Blinman with their respective heritage hotels. We enjoyed the 5 hour (half day) tour of Brachina Gorge Geological Trail. Learnt far more than we would have doing it by ourselves.

Great place to stay, good, spotless covered camp kitchen, hot showers, clean toilets and wonderful views surrounding the park, 3rd visit for us. Nice for overnight or for a few days to explore the area. Friendly staff, clean amenities, wonderful scenery.

Spectacular views from the park! We arrived late and settled in - paid in the morning and the hosts were flexible and helpful - great people. The facilities are not as 'fancy' as other parks but perfectly adequate and showers great!
