We had booked a room at Maciver's Motel and we let the owner know that we would be arriving late after a long difficult (but beatiful) drive. There was nothing else on the road at night. When we called to get directions the person who answered with a slurred voice told us the room had been given to someone else. He said he tried to call, and he must know that cell service in the territory is terrible. But I didn't get the call and he gave our room away. THE WORST thing someone at this kind of place can do. NOT DEPENDABLE. SHADY. It sounded like a party was going on.

Book MacIver !!! Suprisingly Pleasant!!! We are from Atlanta, Ga came to visit family on the reservation for a week on an unplanned visit, the motel gave a cabin feel with the lake right across the street omg!!!! most beautiful scenery to wake up to. The staff was sooooooo accomadating . Will book again for sure.

I stay at McIvers every year when I make the trek across the country to see family. Always a good stay. Clean, comfortable, and the staff is always helpful and courteous. They are pet friendly too which I appreciate. Bonus, Tim Horton's is only 5 minutes down the road, lol.

Quick one night stop Clean room. Heating was defective. Uncomfortable mattress. Very friendly greeting.
