Beautiful stay! Great central location for visits to nearby wineries within McLaren Vale and day trips to the wider coastal region. The cottage is lovely and quaint, very comfortable and private. Georg and Friederike have given lots of thought into the little details which makes for such an amazing stay. Would recommend up anyone looking for a short stay up McLaren Vale!

Staying Here was as very good experience. The cottage was very tastefully decorated. Our host George was ever so friendly. The breakfast was very good. Every thing in the cottage was in harmony. We stayed for two nights we would have stayed longer. Everyone who is in the neighbourhood go and stay in this accomodation.

So close to home but felt miles away. Great setting, very clean and well presented cottage with everything we needed for a few days escape. Excellent location for easy access to great McLaren Vale wineries and restaurants within walking distance.

End of trip came way to fast! Beautiful cottage & amazing host! The breakfast and snack provision was a great plus and the wine was delish! It's been absolute great stay. We'll be recommending to our friends for sure Thanks Georg & Team! We will be back again!

We loved our time at Karawatha Cottages (Relish Cottage). We were greeted by Georg, who was so friendly and welcoming. The cottage was immaculately clean and beautifully fitted out and furnished. Every window had a beautiful view and it was so peaceful and quiet. We cooked for ourselves both nights of our stay and we had everything we needed to do so. The shared BBQ area (amongst the beautiful gardens) was a delight and had a lovely outdoor fireplace that Georg had all ready for us to light. We ordered the cheese board and wine as an extra and it was perfect. The breakfast hamper that came with the cottage was just lovely and beautifully presented. The cottage was within easy walking distance to many wineries so we had a lovely day strolling around taking in all the beauty (and the wines). It was just amazing. We would thoroughly recommend Karawatha Cottages. Georg and Friederike were wonderful hosts and we thank you both for making us feel so welcome and for sharing this beautiful spot with us.

We loved our stay in Relish at Karrawatha Cottages. It was so relaxing waking to the sounds of birds each morning and looking over the beautiful McLaren Vale vista. The cottage was very comfortable and filled with many thoughtful touches. Georg, the host, is friendly and extremely helpful, but unobtrusive. We enjoyed walking to the local wineries, the Current Shed for lunch, and Vale for a refreshing ale. If you are looking for an in an idyllic setting amongst the vineyards, this is it.

What a great idyllic B&B in a lovely and convenient area to discover McLaren Vale. We stayed in the Ponder cottage which was roomy, clean, light and well fitted for our three day visit. The deck offers excellent views and the early morning wake up by the local birds is just delightful. Georg and Friederike have created a little oasis. Georg was there to meet us and had great local knowledge and sightseeing tips. The walk to the nearby wine cellars is great for local food and wine and beer testing. 10/10
