Wow! What an amazing night away! A little ‘staycation’ for us as we live in Blenheim. My husband and I stayed in ‘The Stables’ cottage while we had family staying in ‘The Winemakers Cottage’ who would also have our 1 year old daughter for the night (1st night away from us, but still nice and close!), we had a lovely cheese board and dinner as a family and then my husband and I dipped off to our cottage for a nice (baby free and quite romantic!) night, we enjoyed the spa pool and star gazing, even a cold plunge in the swimming pool mid winter!! The cottage has a cute wee fire place which kept us nice and toasty in the night! In the morning we wandered down and picked up our daughter. We took the animal food and said hello to the friendly deer, sheep and chickens they have on site - so amazing!! And we enjoyed eggs from the chickens on toast with some orange juice/coffee for breakfast. What an absolute treat!! We came home feeling totally refreshed! Oh and I bought some of Sharons lovely pottery bowls and ramekins ‘SHUP’ so talented and nice keepsake from our stay. Thanks you so much Jason and Sharon! We had the most amazing time!!

We had a few wonderful days here . Even the torrential rain and floods couldn’t dampen our spirits. The quaint whare was cosy and quiet. The food utterly delicious. Feeding the animals and tasting the citrus delightful. Our hosts Sharon and Jason were gracious and attentive to our needs and went the extra mile. A wonderful experience which tops up your spirit.

Wonderful place to stay with a small group of friends or family. The cottage and the grounds had everything we could need, including a hot tub, tennis court and we could feed chickens, dear and sheep. The surroundings were very beautiful and peaceful. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. We ordered dinner from them and it was very tasty. They also printed out helpful tips on where to stop on our journey to Christchurch. We tried some of them and were very satisfied. Highly recommended place!

It is a beautiful place with excellent service. Jason and Sharon put a lot of effort to meet our needs. Organised a bicycle vineyard tour for us, moved rooms to accommodate our needs plus gave tips on where we should stop on our way back to Christchurch. The atmosphere and the location is ideal for anyone. We wish we could stay longer and I would return if I ever come back to new zealand

Beautiful location with excellent facilities and hosts Well heated - pool and spa pool a bonus Cycle hire definite must do visiting the local vineyards With delicious platter ready when we hot bavk Will be coming back next year Even messaged us just after we left to tell us that we had a left a scarf behind and offer to post or for us to collect
