We were 3 senior couples ( 4 of us in 70s ) who stayed at Kolinska a few months ago for 3 days. A very good GH with all amenities. Clean and comfortable. The room was a bit tight and as we were travelling for 21 days we did have a big suitcase each . But there was a bench and a table to put our bags . Enough cupboard space to stack our clothes. The breakfast was filling and there was enough for everyone... cornflakes, fruits, yogurt, cheese ,ham, sausage, scrambled eggs and wheat bread. And juices. Natasha, the wife of the host, kind and charming, served us at breakfast . We met her daughter Anna who is a very talented artist and her paintings are displayed on the walls. The only little hitch .. was that all our rooms were on the 2 nd floor. We were prepared for that as we knew that they didn't have a lift. What would have helped after a long and tiring journey is a little help to take the luggage up the stairs! What with 2 of the men having had heart bypass surgeries. Anyway we are glad there were no casualties ! We stayed in many other places that had only stairs but there was always help. But looking at the bright side, being higher up in room s 20, 24 and 25... we had lovely views of the sunset and the castle on one side and mountains on the other with sunrise ! The Guesthouse is not near the lake but it is only a 20 minute walk away. If you need any essentials a big Mercator is just 5 mins away.
