The breakfast was super delicious, the mushrooms were so fresh and tender, it is rare to see food abroad that suits Chinese tastes. The room was large and quiet. satisfy

An oasis of quiet, comfortable calm just five minutes walk from the edge of the beautiful, bustling Lake Bled. So quiet and dark at night, it was hard to believe we were so close to Bled. This is a super convenient location and a beautifully appointed, pension style hotel with all the charm of an Austria Mountain Hotel, the pine, the cleanliness, the comfortable beds and our room was super clean. Breakfast was great. From 7-10 every day, most days we'd arrive for breakfast at around 9 and had a full spread available to us, served by Peter and the team. In typical Slovenian fashion the team running the hotel were polite and kept to themselves unless you wanted something, or needed advice or help when they would be only too pleased to help. A brilliant base from which to explore Bled and the surrounding areas, close enough to enable a short siesta in the afternoon before going out to dinner. Hvala Pension Kaps

We had a weeks holiday in Bled and stayed bed and breakfast at the Pension Kaps our last visit there in 2015. It is a lovely, friendly family run hotel in a quieter part of Bled but still very near the lakeside and restaurants and bars. The hotel is very comfortable, exceptionally clean with a pleasant dining room for breakfasts. A very good breakfast choice including freshly made hot food done straightaway to order. Our room and bathroom were big with a balcony to relax on.

Penzion Kaps was the perfect place to stay in Bled. Peter was a friendly and helpful host who gave us lots of advice on places to visit and eat. Our room was huge with a fantastic bathroom, all extremely clean and modern. The free parking was a bonus in this town, and everything we wanted to see was in easy walking distance. Breakfast was good and we're sorry we had to miss it our last day because of an early flight. We would definitely come back to stay again.

We stayed 2 nights at Penzion Kaps and totally loved it! It was spotless clean and lovingly well-maintained. I have high expectations for cleanliness which hotels often fail to meet but Penzion Kaps was meticulous clean. We were traveling with another couple and we all loved the delicious, fresh, abundant breakfast buffet with plenty of choices and good coffee with eggs made to order. It kept us fueled for full days of activities Our host Peter was kind and obviously takes great pride in his establishment. It was short, easy walk to the lake and many restaurants. I felt the room rate was very reasonably priced considering the quality of facility, food and location. I recommend Penzion Kaps very highly without hesitation I hope I have chance to go to beautiful Slovenia again and stay at Penzion Kaps again. It was truly a lovely stay!

Location vicinissima al lago, veramente cinque minuti a piedi. La camera spaziosa, pulitissima, una doccia formato XXL, la terrazza con giardino, la colazione abbondante, varia da accontentare tutti i palati. Pulizia in tutti gli ambienti. Peter disponibile, educato e professionale. Un luogo da prendere in considerazione per un soggiorno a Bled.

Family run penzion. Well-located in an idyllic setting, very clean. Outstanding breakfast with excellent choices and service. Plenty of parking on their property should you be driving. We asked for, and received, helpful suggestions for dinner options.

Schön ruhig gelegene Pension. Geschmackvoll ausgestattete Zimmer und tolle Einrichtung. Hier läßt es sich gut Urlaub machen. Alles schöne in Bled ist von der Pension fußläufig zu erreichen. Geräumiges Bad und Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür.

Pension Kaps was a wonderful find for a somewhat last-minute trip to Bled. It is immaculately clean. Peter, the host, is friendly and knowledgable. The surroundings - slightly up the hill from the lake and away from the “bustle” of town - are peaceful and relaxing. The birdsong in the morning was a great way to wake up, followed by Peter’s eggs made to order and the simple, but complete, breakfast buffet. The traditional ceramic wood stove in the breakfast room is beautiful, as is all the woodwork inside (all done (with the exception of the chairs and interior doors) by Peter’s father). I look forward to visiting again,
