Penzion Berc is a warm and cozy place well worth visiting when in Bled. We booked with Luka, and the process was seamless. I learnt Luka and his family have run their family business for decades, and the seamless process from our stay in Penzion and experience in Garni only proves their family's business legacy in excellence. I very much appreciated the immediately warm and cozy family environment and its perfect and "strictly" Slovenian cuisine and hospitality. "Strictly" in a sense that all products this B&B offers are locally and carefully sourced. My husband and I travelled to Bled to experience the lake, ride a pletna boat to visit Church, and experience the town. During our stay, Penzion had all amenities needed to create the best experience to see Bled-- those who worked at Bled were warm and friendly, eBikes were readily available for our stay, and an outstanding breakfast buffet is available every morning (literally the best breakfast during our visit!). The rooms had just the right finishing touches to make the experience memorable-- fresh baked cookies, cold beverages, and a balcony with a view and ambience at par to any Four Seasons or the Ritz!

Lovely stay
We had a lovely time at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The only issue was that the description regarding the pool is slightly misleading. There is no pool at this hotel, you can access another hotel's pool that has terrible reviews and costs £13 per person for a few hours.

Delightful and Charming
I came with my sister and we had a great time. The rooms and everything about the place was adorable. And everything was very clean. It had a lot of charm and character without feeling old or outdated. While researching the place, I had seen one person mention hard beds. I personally like firm beds and hate them when they are soft, so I was happy, but be aware they are pretty firm if you only like soft beds. The breakfast was excellent and much better than the many I have had at marriott hotels and holiday inns. They also lent you towels for swimming in the lake which was really nice. There are also e-bikes you can use too. But everything was in walking distance so we only used them once. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommend! I would stay here again if I came back to Lake Bled.

Great bed and breakfast in Bled!
Great hotel for a romantic weekend getaway! This bed and breakfast had a great room, fantastic location to the lake (5 min walk) and a truly awesome breakfast. My wife and I loved this place and would definitely come back.

Oct break at Penzion Berc, lake Bled, Slovenia
Delightful! The owners and their team could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Penzion Berc was very comfortable and roomy and the stocked fridge was complementary. It has a great restaurant with a chef who judged on Slovenian master chef. There are electric bikes to explore the countryside for use. We were looking for some R&R in a peaceful and lovely setting with some places of interest. This did not disappoint, from beautiful gorges, caves and castles to a river trip in Ljubljana to evenings watching the sun set over Lake Bled. A perfect break.

Really nice property! Felt like we were visiting relatives. Owner got us a dinner reservation at a neighboring restaurant since property's restaurant was full and it was truly amazing. Stocked bar, cozy, and my favorite was bathroom floors were heated. Was there in April but still a little chilly! Highly recommend if you're not info the commercial properties.
