Very comfortable and clean room, would definitely recommend it as a place to stay. We would definitely stay again

Lovely little hotel Fantastic little hotel, it is situated a 2 minute walk from Asda and a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. Rooms are above a pub but we heard no noise from there. The lady who welcomed us was lovely and told us about all the places to eat around the hotel. Parking behind the hotel is limited but we just parked on the street which was no bother. The stairs up to the rooms are quite steep and outside so you don’t have to trail through the pub to get to them. Room had everything that you needed, including a microwave which was a lovely surprise. Only a couple of little things that weren’t ideal. The blind on our room didn’t work very well and it sounded like the window was still open even when closed, which didn’t bother us too much but if you are a light sleeper it might. The road does get quieter at night but the traffic lights do start early in the morning. All in all a fantastic stay and we have both agreed we willing be staying again if we are near Glasgow.

The beds were wonderful, brand new unit, two single beds ensuite, coffee/tea making facilities, staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly and so close to buses, train station, supermarket, village and a wee walk to the David Livingstone Memorial down by the bridge over the Clyde to Bothwell Castle. What a great place to stay for convenience, and clean, tidy, lovely room. THANK YOU!!

Budget rooms on the outskirts of Glasgow I am cautious of staying in pubs because of the risk of noise, but there was no problem with this one. The room was clean well maintained, there are fast food outlets nearby Blantyre station is a 10 min walk and it was reasonably priced. I don't know if the pub does food as I didn't use it, there is no breakfast, but as I was away before 08.00 it didn't matter to me. Would use again

Stayed here for a couple of nights to visit friends in Glasgow. The room was clean and tidy and could set the heating to your preferred temperature. Tv was big and worked well. Bed was comfy and shower was hot and worked well. Would stay again
