Een eenvoudig hotel, de kamers zijn wat gedateerd. De kleine badkamer met prima douche was in orde. Op de TV alleen wat Belgische zenders. Uitzicht vanuit onze kamer is een binnenplaats. Goede lift. Kleine lobby. Kleine maar leuk ingerichte bar met uitstekende bediening door Kathy en Rudy. Het eten is uitstekend. Zowel het ontbijt als het diner (we aten er drie achtereenvolgende dagen met onze groep). Jammer dat de ontbijtzaal zo laat open gaat, en op dag 3 hadden ze de warmhoudplaat voor eieren en spek niet aangezet... De kamers zijn inderdaad gehorig. We hebben er met onze groep een gezellige tijd gehad, met dank aan Kathy en Rudy.

L’hôtel était presque bien mais 2 choses m’ont fortement déplus
1/ j’avais réservé une chambre dans hôtel avenue. A l’arrivée j’ai été redirigée sur l’hôtel Malot, plein centre, bruyant et pas si beau.
2/le petit dej: impossible de savoir si je vais avoir faim la veille . Le petit dej coûte 9€ si on est client de l’hôtel. Le lendemain, j’ai très faim et comme je n’ai pas réservé la veille le petit dej passe au double du prix. 19€!!!
Sois disant pour une histoire de taxes -
J’ai déjeuner ailleurs et ils ont perdu 9€.
Bref, l’impression d’être une vache à lait sur cette côte belge 😡

Hotel was goed. Goede service van Claudia en Karin, zij runnen in feite het hotel. Alleen met inchecken iemand anders opgemerkt. Zeer goed verzorgd ontbijt. Kamers waren goed, fijn bed. Lift aanwezig. Het is een 3 sterren hotel, dus wat je nodig hebt is er. Alleen perfect ontbijt, voor avond eten de stad in. Helemaal goed.

Very sketchy place. Huge scam. They told us to cancel our booking to reimburse us then added a condition, which was met but never reimbursed. They never replied to our emails, or if so very late and not answering. Would not recommend. Overpriced for the quality of the service.

Nous avions reservé 3 chambres à l'hotel Avenue et avons appris le jour de notre arrivé que nous avions été reportés sur l'hotel Malecot du même propriétaire. L'accueuil sur place a été déplorable, en commençant par nous demander avec insistance de régler les 3 chambres que nous avions payées d'avance. Une des chambres empestait le tabac froid et était dans un état de vétusté (moquette hors d'age) indigne des 3 étoiles affichées. Nous avons du nous plaindre pour obtenir une autre chambre. Autre détail: insonorisation inexistante...

Nice gem near the train and beach .
Th hotel is charming and in the perfect location with easy short walk to the train station and the beach. The beds are comfortable. The hotel was perfect for 2 nights. Did not utilize the restaurant. The only negative was trying to find someone to help at the front desk, had to wander around looking for a worker when we needed help with a question or checking in or out. Not that the staff wasn’t nice though. I would recommend this hotel as it was comfortable and the location was great.
