Cool castle and great restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast are great. I am happy with everything. There is free parking. All rooms are different, so choose responsibly :)
I would like to mention the water in the room - the sparkling water is very tasty. But a small bottle is not enough, people in your restaurant actually drink whiskey, they really need it in the morning :)
It is a pity that the fireplace was not burning, it adds coziness.

Amazing hotel with stunning surroundings. Located a bit away from the centre of town . The building is beautiful and a bit worn down wich makes it seem even more authentic. The inside of the hotel is very nice with a cozy vibe to it. Room was spacious and comfortable.Dinner was good and the dining room was cozy. The outside area is stunning with nature surrounding the hotel. The lawn could do with some cleaning though,was a lot of poop from sheep and dogs there😅 Staff was vey accommodating and helpful and we regret not staying here longer.

The 4 poster bed, king size bed was so comfortable! The room was beautiful. The staff I cannot say enough about; they were more than helpful, everything and anything you needed they would help with. Food was excellent, and plentiful . The hotel was clean and so cozy, loved the atmosphere! The grounds were kept up nicely . I would definitely go back! They made us feel quite and home there. Hats off to the staff!

Beautiful location for this traditional hotel. Staff were amazing and a real credit and the food was first class. We stayed for 1 night over the May Bank holiday weekend when there was also a local golf weekend taking place. Unfortunately, despite the charm of the hotel, our room was directly above the bar and the rowdy noise kept us awake into the early hours - not ideal when we had an 8 hour drive the next day, hence the 3 stars.

We were put in clearly one of the worst rooms, small scruffy, needing a coat of paint and was above the kitchen with a noisy air conditioning plant.........we had asked for a quiet room! We put up with it for one night and then asked to leave and have our money back..........no Ellen couldn't do that as we had a low prepay rate (actually 30% higher than the rate of that day) because we had booked direct so no refund was possible?? I would have thought it was much easier?? The place has 5 star potential but it will not get there with the current senior staff who clearly are not suitable for the hospitality business. One exception is Lisa who when she is around the staff and residents are clearly much happier. The excellent waiters (Logan and David) hold it altogether. On the positive side the food was good and the area is a beautiful part of Scotland.

A venue full of Scottish character and personality. Very friendly and accommodating staff and great food. Throw in not one but two roaring fires and this was a fantastic Dec 2023 birthday venue. Can't wait to come back to this beautiful part of the world.

The scenery around the private drive to the hotel sets the scene. Stepping through the front door of Dalmunzie is like stepping back in time. The hotel boasts many original features including flagstone floors, wooden staircases and real fires. The main attraction though, is the wonderful menu. Truly a delight for all tastes.
