Walkable to everything. Room was a walkout basement so dark.

Shower did not drain properly when I arrived but was fixed

Great location! Rooms were clean and updated. Great for pets.

Convenient location

My room at the lodge was nice enough. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette worked well, the shower was good, although there was someone else’s hair in the shower. The biggest problem was the floors were very dirty. I went downstairs and spoke to the desk employee about the problem. She apologized and offered to move me to another room. I was there working on a challenging project and needed a quiet room, I was already settled in for my five day stay, so I did not want to move. I asked if she could adjust my bill to compensate, and the answer was a flat no. I also pointed out a significant safety issue in the room, which she said they could do nothing about. If you happen to stay in room 211, watch out for the brickwork below the fireplace. It’s a significant tripping hazard, and it lies between the bathroom and the bed. So, although the room is comfortable, and I was able to get my work done, it was not clean, and it seems they are not interested in trying to make things better if there are issues.

I made the reservation in March 2024 for my friends wedding in September. I had until August 13 to cancel. Unfortunately my companion was diagnosed with cancer on August 14. I immediately called the Lodge on September 14 to cancel the reservation and explained that I had just learned about my companion situation and if the could cancel in view of my situation and reimburse me even though the. Cancel date was the day before. She refused and after pleading her solution was that if I canceled the reservation if the room sold she would reimburse me for the nights sold. I am retired now and worked in a Five Tars Hotel in Beverly Hills until I retired. We also had rules about cancellations but the Manager knew when to brake them and had compassion. This manager has none. Don’t reserve way in advance in this property because no matter what they won’t reimburse you!

Gorgeous little lodge. Very well decorated. Comfy clean beds, fluffy pillows, and brand new amenities (coffee maker, mini fridge, etc.). 50" TV with premium cable. Patios and access to the central courtyard, which would make it super easy to walk your dogs, so its pet friendly. Courteous staff. Across the street from a charming shopping center. Not much more you could ask from a cozy lodge in an up-and-coming, newly constructed area of central Idaho.
