Set in a beautiful village near Bristol, we had a very enjoyable overnight stay here on our way to the airport. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, family room was very spacious , comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Fresh milk provided for making tea & coffee. Didn’t eat here but went down for a drink in the bar. Would definitely stay here again

Amazing staff very attentive and nothing was any trouble to them, very lovely young lady behind the bar made us feel so at home and really accommodating, (thank you ) rooms impeccably clean lovely big white shower towels, really comfortable beds , could not fault the staff or accommodation, would definitely stay again and longer next time . Keep maintaining your high standards , loved it 🌈🌈

John (Manager) certainly knows how to look after a new customer! Ordered the ham, egg and chips but no brown sauce. John disappeared down the road and bought a fresh bottle from the local shop. I have not experienced someone going out of their way like that before. Superb. I will be back down very soon to try more from the updated food and drinks range. The venue was lovely and over the road is a beautiful playing field with views over the lake. Thanks to John once again.

Rang and booked last minute as our plans had changed for Fathers day and they managed to squeeze us in. So glad we made the drive. This place is a little gem, the decor is stylish and clean, great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The manager was very welcoming, ran through the menu and told us where our table was. It was really bust for a village pub. We all of course opted for the Roast of the day, which was Beef, cooked to perfection. Came with plenty of mixed vegetables and my favourite roast potato's, which there were plenty on the plate. Overall, it was a really nice visit, we sat in the courtyard after and enjoyed a couple of drinks, will most certainly be back

What a beautiful place. We stayed for one night after visiting Cheddar Gorge and the room was stunning. Huge comfy bed, gorgeous views and very clean. We ate in the restaurant and the food was homemade and delicious. The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended.

So today myself and my lovely friend tried the roast beef dinner and it was absolutely fantastic and the service was outstanding highly recommend the roast beef was perfectly cooked the vegetables were crisp and full of flavour I can only say I will return 5/5
