Chesterton Hotel, Blackpool South Shore

Terrible stay Not very clean,noone on site to meet us,we had to get a key from a key box,which i wasn't happy about,i had to pay £24 for parking wasn't impressed at all ,there wasn't any body who stayed at the hotel, if anything would of happened we couldn't contact anybody,the room was freezing and i wasn't happy leaving a plug in heater on at night,i will never stay there again.

Don’t stay at this hotel No body their when checking in it took over an hour to check in because we had to ring a phone number to get a link with a code, bloods on bed&mattress broken tv kettles didn’t work broken hairdryer uncomfortable beds

Booked this room weeks in advance for 2 adults and 1 toddler, paid in full the date is was booked. Arrived at the hotel to be told there was an outstanding balance due from us and they only had a double room for 2 adults available. We was stood outside for over half an hour in the rain whilst being told the only way we could have a room was if we paid the additional money and accepted a room for 2 people which was not ideal. They eventually moved us into a different hotel that they owned but still made us pay the extra balance. The hotel was not a nice hotel and the owner walked into the room several times without knocking or notice during our stay. Would not recommend.

Absolutely disgusting place, the smell of exrement soon as we opened the door was overpowering, the toilet was blocked up with excrement and tissue, fags and ash im the sink and rubbish bin full of unmentionables. Window handle was broken so couldnt close it. Manager turned up 2 hours later with a cleaner but i turned them away as i had already cleaned it up myself as i wasnt letting my child put up with that smell any longer. If it wasnt a bank holiday weekend i would have left straight away.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stopped in. It’s an unmanned hotel so had to wait over an hour to get into the hotel in the pouring rain. Finally got the code to get in, when I got to my room it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned, there was sugar all over the floor, chocolate biscuits on the floor and the room stunk. The kettle had no power lead andthe tv remote had no batteries. Would not recommend stopping here.
