Very clean room friendly staff no problem getting a late drink handy bs and tram stop right outside

I booked 4 nights with my 13 year old son, fair to say i wont be in a hurry to book again, we arrived. its about 8-10mins tram ride from pleasure beach tram stop, location is terrible if your going for the hustle and bustle of blackpool and to really get a feel of the place, this hotel is not the one. check in was very easy the guy was nice and friendly, we arrived at around 10pm, got to our room no bin no towels and defo no heating as advertised. was freezing. soon sorted the towels the dude at reception kindly got us some. and a battery for the remote. sleep was terrible the floor boards in the room above was squeeking everytime someone moved. i guess thats what comes with old buildings but come on if your a light sleeper being woken up 3/4 times in the night is a pain in the rear end.. door hinge outside the room needs abit of wd40 too. we didn't book breakfast or dinner i know where to eat in Blackpool homely dinners is what i wanted. we went down to chill in the sun lounge not a socket that worked in sight very dusty and unclean. needs a lot of TLC £3.50 for a pot of coffee... never tasted something so ropey in all my life...maybe need to change the maxwell house coffee to something more enjoyable, a bit of Kenco wouldn't hurt. There was cabaret shows every night but didn't know this till late in day 2. drink prices are reasonable.. very dog friendly i see lots, heard lots too. its advertised on here as a 3 star but its defo a 2 star as stated on their website, i see pics of a swimming pool and gym when booking and flicking through the hotel pics here and i found no pool and no gym its in fact at a hotel close by. The whole Hotel needs some TLC we checked out a day early as i actually wanted to sleep before travelling back to london.

Overall this hotel was nice great location, also on the the beach, good transport and easy to walk to town centre, good facilities, only flaw was it was our first visit to the hotel and I booked a family of 5 room with a sea view costing 78 pounds and on arrival was given a family of 4 room with no sea view only costing 65 pounds which I know as it stated the price on the receipt I was given by reception on arrival

Generally a brilliant hotel other than there needs to be more staff. Also the cleaners need to change the beds more often and not say they have cleaned the room when they had not. Overall quite a good hotel great location guy works hard to run the show

It is a good hotel but me and my dad had a few problems whilst we were staying there like to start the shower door closed and you had to be quick to get in the shower otherwise it’s door would close. No toilet brush in toilet. I personally think that this is unacceptable and needs to be sorted out in the future. When we had dinner the hotel the menu was nearly the same everyday so a limit of choices but dinner was nice. Quite in the bar and restaurant so a tip for the future, try to bring in more customers. Good sea view from the window in the room. The chef Ian was quite friendly and welcoming during our stay. We was able to check in early which I thought was good. Only stay in this hotel if you want to be at the north promenade which is quite far the more central part of Blackpool. Overall I would stay at this hotel again if improvements were made.

Food and staff are brillant very accommodating. We had a large party of 11 and the set us a long table so we could all sit together. Nothing was too much trouble. The chef and waiting staff were fantastic polite, happy. Nathan on reception again is an asset to the hotel going above and beyond for every guest that needed help. The only not so good was my radiator did not work and the housekeeping let them down. Would definately stay there again

We booked in Sunday 13th October on first appearances it looked well kept and presentable and staff appeared to be helpful we booked a sea view room which yes we got but just bear in mind you are right on the main road and it can be very noisy due to traffic and our room was above the front door on second floor and you could hear the smokers and people coming in at all hours the room it self was basic no drawers to put clothes in and it did have clothes hangers on two rails the room was not clean and needed attention there was no towels and one half used toilet roll and the coffee/tea facilities were not replenished also it was very difficult to fill the kettle in the small sink we asked for towels and they said they would deliver them to the room and they didn’t so went down to reception the following day and got them ourselves and it was clear at this point the young lads on reception couldn’t be bothered we also noticed no cleaning staff whatsoever in 3 days the room itself 205 was straight opposite the stairs and lift and also another door which was very noisy throughout the night and there was a lot of drunk argumentive people in the hotel which the noise continued all the way through to the morning our bed felt like a 100 stone person had flattened it and we didn’t get a wink of sleep due to the bed and noise from drunk guests our bathroom was basically a wet room which was probably ideal for the disabled or elderly the noice also was coming from dogs barking with this being a pet friendly hotel which I didn’t know about the breakfast in the morning was very basic and I nearly snapped a tooth on the cheap and nasty sausage every thing else was adequate the tea coffee facility’s was instant coffee and the orange juice was cordial the staff appeared friendly and attentive sometimes just a bit to much we have personally stopped in numerous places in Blackpool and this was possibly been the worst and I would have expected more than this being a hotel
