Queens Plaza Hotel

Our previously booked hotel had cancelled on arrival so after frantically online searching we found this absolute gem. The hosts could not have been any more friendly and welcoming, the room was beautiful with amazing views of the seafront, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had a drink in the bar and played some pool. Breakfast was hot, plentiful and delicious and gain the hosts were lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We enjoyed our stay. I have walking difficulties and did struggle walking to our room. However I must recommend Denise, the owner, who did try to get us a nearer room. Sadly, none were available. We paid £30 for our breakfasts for our stay, which was a bit of a surprise as we thought breakfast was included. It was delicious though, and plentiful with lots of choice. Very friendly and pleasant staff who really do try to accommodate your every need. There's also a lovely little bar, with fun quiz machines to play. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

We made a last-minute booking for a night's stay here and had a triple room on the top floor. Although there were a lot of stairs to navigate, it was manageable for just one night. My husband used the small but old lift to bring our suitcase and bags up to our room. Although our room did not offer much of a view, it was clean, well-organized, and seemed to have been recently decorated. The amenities included tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as the option for hot chocolate, which was a nice extra touch. Additionally, we found a few small packets of biscuits and bottled water, which were pleasant surprises. The ensuite, featuring a separate shower and toilet, was also great. Both were clean and equipped with a dispenser for handwash and shower gel, along with ample towels. We enjoyed the breakfast, which featured a wide variety of both hot and cold options and offered great value for the price. However, there are a few areas for improvement, particularly regarding the mattress on the main bed. We found it to be thin, squeaky, and somewhat uncomfortable, and the pillows were very flat. Our previous experiences with Premier Inn mattresses and pillows may have influenced our opinion, which is why we reduced our rating by one star. The hotel offers free parking, but it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The owner does his best to accommodate guests in need of parking. We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if ever in the vicinity again.

Stayed here for one night and pleased we did. It was clean, comfortable, with safe and free parking and welcoming. A really nice cooked breakfast and friendly service. Really all you need for a good value overnight stay. A short tram ride into the main part of Blackpool - the tram stop is more or less opposite.

Friendly and welcoming Nice homely little place directly opposite the beach. 5 minutes walk to the tram stop (20 mins by tram to the tower), amusements and local restaurants. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and were instantly made to feel at home. Owners were available 24/7 for any queries and honestly, the best cooked breakfast I've had in years! The bar was a welcome addition as well, and there was plenty of parking.

Great location. Pleasant welcome and found space for us to park out front. Breakfast had a really good selection and was tasty and filling buffet. Room looked recently decorated. Hotel in a really good location on sea front near tram station, with parking available Some points that could improve overall stay Carpets in common areas could do with renewing, and 1st floor looks a bit dated compared to the upper floors. Found cobwebs above our bed, and mattress was not comfortable, pillows could do with renewing as they were quite flat. Also found door to shower room would not shut. Could do with towel rails in toilet and shower room.
