For the price paid, it did the job, but the room didn’t reflect the photos online. Cleaning staff need to start cleaning the rooms; our triple room was full of dust, dirty carpets and a less than clean bathroom. On the plus side, bedding was clean and beds were comfortable. Not the worst hotel in Blackpool, but certainly not the best; will I return…. No.

Where do I start this hotel was very disappointing on my arrival to the hotel staff where lovely to talk to the room on the other hand OMG it wasn't what I was expecting for the price I payed the bedroom was a box room like so small NO cleaners came in room for 5 days on a daily base my son could off burn himself the hot water was boiling the bathroom door had nails in it the toilet was facing the wrong way me and my son couldn't use the toilet in the room and the lift to each floor couldn't even fit a buggy in never mind a wheelchair and there was no disabled. Toilet on ground floor. And also the mirrors in the room where never cleaned at all

Our second visit this year we went 3rd week in May the best part about the hotel are the staff they go above and beyond to look after guests there was less choice on menu this time there were a lot of fish with lots of lentils for healthy eating I suppose ? we enjoyed our meals as there was steak pie ,chicken ,lasagna,scampi and chips soup was lovely too our room was very hot had to keep the fan on all night and window open no bed change had to ask for towels this time when we went in May room was serviced every second day maybe a change of cleaning staff now was disappointed with the cleanliness of our bathroom too I won't be returning again sorry

Been to this hotel a few times over recent years, first time under new ownership. Looks like they are working their way through rooms updating bathrooms, unfortunately we had shower over bath which leaked onto the floor complained about it but wasn't attended to whilst we were there, also slip mat was very dirty had to ask for new one. Pillows were comfortable but matresses were very springy. One mirror in bathroom above the sink is the only one in the room we had which was a very compact twin, not much space for two people to move around. Food was very nice, good variety. Staff in hotel were all lovely. Agree with previous comment in that hotel was not busy at all for this time of year, been before at similar time of year and it was buzzing. Maybe drinks prices at bar had something to do with that.....very expensive.

This hotel was okay. The check-in staff were friendly and the family suite was spacious. The entertainment looked like fun but we didn't sit and watch it due to us travelling with a toddler. I think this hotel is great if you are travelling with friends and wanting a fun night as the hotel seems to have a party vibe and you probably don't care about the same things as a family would. We went to bed early to put our toddler down but the music was playing until after 11pm. It was very loud even from the 3rd floor. It didn't bother us as we were super tired but I can imagine it being pretty bad if you are on the floors below! They provided a cot but it didn't have a mattress or if it did it was very thin so we used towels to soften the base. Something to bare in mind if travelling with an infant. The room was extremely hot. We opened the windows which helped a little but did make the noise louder. Luckily the room came with a fan which we used to take the edge off the warmth but our toddler was so hot she kept waking up through the night and crying when she normally sleeps through. Didn't make for a good nights sleep the noise/heat combo! Breakfast wasn't good. First they said we weren't on the list despite us paying when booking then they let us in anyway. Nobody told us how it worked or came to take any order. Eventually after a while of seeing others being served toast and more, even people who arrived after us - We went and spoke to the staff to ask how we get a cooked breakfast. He said somebody will come take our order. Nobody ever did so I went back and asked him for some toast. When the toast came he asked us if we wanted 2 cooked breakfasts. We said yes. There was no options, no mention of vegetarian breakfast, we just assumed we'll get what we get. When it arrived it was a sorry story but i'm not going to lie - We didn't exactly have high expectations. Overall we didn't sleep well nor did breakfast make up for it. The location isn't great as it's quite a walk in to the centre but we knew this already. I'm just not really sure what the positives are with this place so I wouldn't stay here again. The price was quite high for our stay so it didn't meet expectations unfortunately.

Not what it used to be. New owners( maybe they need time to bed in). Compared to previous years it is very empty. Don't know if word of mouth has affected bookings but a lot quieter than previously. Room nice and staff just as pleasant and helpful as usual but atmosphere has just gone. Afraid we won't be back and will be staying at seabank instead from now on when visiting Blackpool.
