Shirley Heights Hotel

Stay here every year for the rebellion festival. I've never been disappointed. Hosts Derek and Amanda are excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is cooked to perfection. Only 5 minutes walk to winter gardens. Already booked for next year

I have just spent 4 nights at this B&B Guest house in the heart of Blackpool. The guest house has 6 rooms. The room we had was large, roomy and ensuite. The bed was very comfortable, the room exceptionally clean. In the room are tea and coffee facilities plus a television, toiletries were also provided. Breakfast each morning was outstanding. I had a full English each day. Also available for breakfast are juices, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, toast, porridge and a full English, which sets you up for the day. Amanda and Derek like to ensure thar everyone is satisfied with their breakfast and if required will go the extra mile. in fact, the selling point to this Guest house are the owners Amanda and Derek. They are like friends welcoming you into their home. They are so friendly, very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The guest house is minutes from Sea Life, Central Pier, Houndshill Shopping Centre, The Winter Gardens and Blackpool Tower. We can't wait to book our next stay

The host/ hostess made you feel like friends staying in their home rather than paying guests in a b&b. The bed was perfectly comfortable & my fella was v keen on the abundance of suitably firm pillows. I mentioned @ breakfast it was my b'day & we came back after a morning out to a lovely, thoughtful, b'day card left in our freshly housekept room. The sanitary arrangements in our room are.... unique, perfectly acceptable, but you need a VERY intimate acquaintance with your bed mate, I've been with mine for 17yrs & even we found it .... slightly embarrassing. But the room, the sanitary area & the shower room (private for use of occupants of our room, key in the room, though not En-Suite) were all scrupulously clean & spotlessly tidy! & the addition of bathrobes a thoughtful touch. If given the opportunity I would DEF opt to stay there again, but I understand (luckily for the hosts) it is almost always fully booked well in advance.

Ŕeturned again to Shirley Heights. Everything was perfect. Amanda and Derek make us feel so welcome, first class hosts. Best Hotel in Blackpool. Breakfast delicious. We're definitely coming back. Wish we'd discovered this little gem sooner

our 2nd time to this great hotel in 6 months ...we got the same lovely room that we had 6 months before,comfy bed & another double bed not made up as didnt need it but shows how big the room was ..2 windows in the room a decent shower & very cosy ...a good breakfast ,they always ask you what you want on the morning..we just love it ..a couple of doors away from the H&A club which we love ..amanda & Derek are a lovely couple who are quite laid back & very easy to talk to ...dont think you are gonna get rid of us in a hurry ..hopefully see you later this year if not definetly next year..thanks so much for having us back again ...stop spoiling barry with the mints lol....keep up the gd work ..love Barry & Barbara Anderson xxx

SHIRLEY HEIGHTS... What an absolutely amazing place to stay. Best experience we have had in Blackpool and would'nt stay anywhere else. The rooms are fantastic, the breakfast is delicious and the owners Amanda & Derek just went above & beyond for us from start to finish. It was my wife's birthday and our hosts put a birthday card and a box of chocolates in our room for her, a lovely extra touch. All round, we had a 1st class stay. This is our third year of staying at Shirley Heights and we are already booked for next year. The location is perfect and easy to walk to the main areas of the town. Derrick and Amanda are wonderful hosts and nothing is ever too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and an excellent breakfast is provided. It’s a real gem.

Amazing stay again! All of the rooms are so clean and the quality of the breakfast is amazing. The hosts are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Close to main attractions with view of the tower from our room. Highly recommend this warm and friendly B&B
