St Albans Hotel

Rooms for improvement Hotel was on seafront and did have free parking so that aspect was good. Room very basic, small double and decent bunk bed. Bed had no undersheet so just fitted sheet on the mattress so not very comfortable. Lots of holes on the walls where curtains had been removed and other things. Small en-suite and the toilet seat came off and chef fixed it still in chef kit! Breakfast was ok, choice of cereal, fruit juices and some smal danishes. Full English breakfast. However, it was very cheap so get what you pay for. Sort out bedding, standard of room, repair when dressed for it and would stay again,

Received email on eve of travel saying we had an upgrade from double Seaview to family Seaview on lower floor to give us better view and more space. The room was cramped with single bed and double bed small table with two chairs at bay window.No wardrobe just rail to hang up clothes. Shower was very small and clostraphobic no shelf in bathroom for toiletries . Went for breakfast and the sausages he brought were burnt almost black though after I complained to young boy I did hear owner shout from kitchen sorry and had fresh ones on. We decided not to bother waiting so never had anything. On morning of leaving sausages were bit burnt again. I just don't understand why they think this is OK to give to their diners.Overall very cluttered outdated will not return but Owners were very friendly.

The bed was heaven! So very thick and comfy, the room was good, view amazing, breakfast was 5*+,and I'm not exaggerating. The hosts are a family that can't do enough for you whilst at the same time not in your face, definitely going back, I've been to a few hotels and b&b's in Blackpool and have no intention of going anywhere else than St. Alban's.

We had fantastic stay with brilliant Seaview. Paula and Brain were wonderful hosts breakfast with friendly kids. Evening time the bar was open was every night and it was really value for money. There customer was friendly and talking. In the room you had everything you wanted I would like to come back to stay here again thank you

Being on the promade I expected it to be noisy due to traffic. How wrong I was. Didn't hear any noise at all, so had a great nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Shower was hot, and breakfast was so plentiful I had trouble finishing it.

Breakfast was fantastic, hosts were friendly, hospitable and helpful. Hotel decor for halloween added to our stay for our little one! Couldn't fault our stay will definitely book again!
