We chose to stay in Blackall to break the trip from Charleville to Longreach. Located on highway entry to town. Lots to see around town including the Black Stump, murals and art in town, Dovers Museum in Ram Park, Pioneer Bore, the Wool Scour and Roly Poly. We also saw sheep in a house yard down Daisy St from the motel. Two good double beds. Large room, if a little tired. Only 80% clean with dirty fridge. Under cover car parking. Uncaring young reception. Very helpful older man at checkout. We have stayed at better rooms for less money. But less choice in this small town. Would we stay there again? Probably.
